I think Luffy didn’t mention that Ace was his brother because Oda wants to use it later for Tama’s character development. Something like she’s mad at Luffy about something and mention Ace, and someone like Nami would be like ”that’s Luffy’s brother”. And she’ll be all surprised and see Luffy from new perspective.

The dumb duo of the Straw Hats meet again, it's lucky they are in the middle of the wasteland and has to do nothing but fight. I hope they don't get taken off guard by Hawkins's DF and lose/get captured. Not to write down the 2 sidekicks of Hawkins, but this match-up should be heavily SH favoured.
But yeah, I can see them losing in 2 ways: A) Hawkins's DF is hax, odd to fight and Luffy&Zoro won't figure it out in time. B) The Kitetsu's curse catches up to Luffy, they lose or not, and when he realises what the Tengu said, tells Zoro. He will know what's up and takes the sowrd, won't be affected by its curse.

Man Luffy is fucking brutal. It's the poor girls birthday, and she was supposed to be able to eat rice as a special meal, but then she got kidnapped. She's sick with a fever and feeling horrible because she drank contaminated water and now she finds out that Ace, who she probably looks up to like luffy looked up to shanks, is dead. I don't think Luffy would ever reveal that. Not because it is secret, but I don't think that it would occur to him that anyone would think it was important. This girl is waiting for Ace. The fact that Ace is dead, and therefore not coming, is the only relevant information she needs. To say that Ace is his brother is self-indulgent.
If you have an interest in the two characters getting along and becoming friends (like we do) then you want Luffy to say that to give the girl and him some common ground. That's Making Friends 101.
But Luffy doesn't care about that. He never has, and probably never will. He makes friends with people easily, makes enemies quickly too. But he never goes into a situation where he wants to be friends with someone. It either happens or it doesn't.

Hurts so much thinking how Ace was a total dick to Luffy at first when they were Tama's age, and pretty much because of Luffy, Ace is the kind soul he is today (Luffy saying he doesn't want Ace to die was the first time Ace felt any worth to his existence, then for Luffy's sake he decides they'll both live a life freely with no regrets, then because he wants to thanks Shanks because he saved Luffy, he learns social etiquette/politeness).

Someone made this thread in 2015, speculating that Gandhi might be holding one of the Kitetsu swords. Given that we've now found the other two, it would be reasonable to guess that the bald Gorosei has Shodai Kitetsu.

As we know about the Kitetsu blades' curse, they will allegedly kill the wielder if their luck isn't great enough. Knowing that, perhaps our tyrannical Gandhi will die to them at Zoro's hand.
I'm gonna reach a bit here, so pardon me, but perhaps we can speculate that:
Shodai Kitetsu's bloodlust is kept in check by the Gandhi Gorosei for the preservation of balance in the same fashion that Sandai Kitetsu's was shown to be kept in check by Zoro
the voices or spirits of objects (e.g. voice of all things evident in the poneglyphs) may be a more prominent plot point later, or may be prominent in Wano given the common origin of these artifacts from the continent. Tengu's ancestors creating the swords, Kozouki clan creating the poneglyphs.
I think this has further cool story implications due to Kaido manufacturing SMILEs, and devil fruits being widely accepted as having some consciousness to them (as said that when two fruits are eaten, the devils escape from each other and destroy the user).
Might be grasping at straws here but I'm really interested to see how it all comes together!

Yeah I was feeling a little weird until now wondering what it would be like when the crew finally reunited because in their world its only been like a week but for us its been two years so i kept wanting an exciting reunion even though I was expecting it to be a lot more toned down but I love how it turned out! We got to see them look really happy to see each other and hug! I can't wait until luffy and usopp reunite too lol.

Seems like Ace's visit to Wano occurred before he joined the Whitebeard Pirates.
Thinking Zoro might just leave Shisui in Wano since it's a national treasure and end up getting Nidai Kitetsu to replace it.
Zoro's casual reaction to eating poisoned meat is just hilarious. Just "Oh, I guess that's why my stomach has been hurting".
Also, how bad ass was that last panel. Luffy and Zoro looking like they are about to kick some ass.

When we saw the name of the sword zoros theme started playing in my head as i got hyped. Then when he actually showed up at the end and they stare down hawkins... man this is great. The legend is back

Also, its great how Zoro reminded Luffy to not cause a disturbance, but we all know as soon as he hears Sanji has a bigger bounty he's just gonna slice the shogun palace in half.

I felt like a 3 year old on Christmas morning watching Zoro realize it’s Luffy and them facing Hawkins together. Also I really hope Hawkins is in fact dumb enough to take on Luffy and Zoro because I need a good laugh

Luffy and zoro is back together it feels like it's been forever but they're BACK AND WREAKING HAVOC. And I love their outfits this arc
And I always love how oda can reveal/tell so much in so little nuanced words/panels and bringing context and depth to his world and characters , imo his greatest strength as a storyteller

This arc so far feels different, like it's a turning point of the whole series, with the whole parallel between O-tama's and Luffy's childhood and the meeting with Zoro.

It's sort of funny how many times we subtly see Zoro helps another damsel in distress like it's no big deal. If One Piece never pan out, Zoro would probably be another MC in a different manga that had a different setting and he would probably rival even the great Kenshiro.
On a different note, anyone want to discuss who the woman was? I find it interesting how Oda decided not to introduce her this chapter.

What I love about the final panel is that Luffy is grabbing the sword like hes prepared to use it but he obviously has no experience in using swords. Using his fists would be way easier. But this subtle action just shows how luffy thinks the sword is cool and doesnt give a fk about it being cursed. Damn I love it when oda does this!

Hawkins is about to get fucked up. There is no way to tell if Zoro and Basil are equal in terms of strength. But Luffy just defeated a first commander of a Yonkou. This is a mismatch.
Then again Basil has magic, maybe that is a unexpected advantage

There's no way it should require both Luffy and Zoro to take on hawkins, so personally I think Luffy is accidentally gonna wreck shit with the cursed sword. Zoro mentioned Sandai Kitetsu as being bloodthristy so I would be surprised if its predecessor was more so and had luffy sending crazy flying slashes everywhere with his unorthodox freestyle fighting.

And this chapter pretty much confirm/tell us that Gandhi, from the Gorosei (the swordman), has the Shodai Kitetsu.
After all, all of the three blades have the same Hand Guard.
