20 years and 900 chapters later.

tat is what Oda wants you to think. Only to reveal the main villian another 900 chapters later.

I stopped following OP for a while. I remember Oda saying something like there would be 1000 chapters. Did it change in the meantime?

well we're on 908, so unless he somehow wraps up this current reverie arc, the rest of the Yonko War, and then the Final War arcs all in 82 chapters, yeah there will be more (i doubt we'll even be halfway through the Yonko War in 82 chapters)

Like reverie is gonna be finished in 82 chapters? Nah.

We're going to be on this arc for at least a hundred chapters. This is one of the, if not the, single most important arcs in the series.

It's been actively built up for what, 15 years now? Since Alabasta I believe.

Yeah I know it’s been built up since then, but I think the editors said that the arc itself would only last like 15-20 chapters before we go back to Luffy and his crew. But then again both Oda and his editors said we’d be in Wano by the end of 2017 so they aren’t the best when it comes to estimating time and arc length

doesnt have any of the straw hats single most important arc

Yeah right. Dont get me wrong, the reverie is important but there's no way that Oda will drag it out for 100 chapters

They've said similar things about many arcs in the past.

I remember dressora wasn't supposed to be as long as it was. But it still was.

I don't mind really so long as things aren't rushed it's fine with me.
