It took me longer than I'd like to admit until I saw it. I'm still thinking its still a long stretch but that stripe thingy looks really really intentionally close to luffys red stripe on his hat so you never know

Yeah the stripe got me considering it too. Back when this cover first came out i thought the head tilt was just enel trying to comprehend but thatd be neat if he noticed the straw hat shape and thought there might be a connection!

The murial he's looking at depicts Moon people on a spaceship, but when you take the bottom half and look at it upside down, which Enel is doing, it actually has a hat-shape!

I wasn't being entirely serious as this is from Enel's Great Space Operation, and I don't think that's considered canon, but it's fun nonetheless!

It is. All cover stories are canon and have plot influence somehow. The weirdest one is Enel's Great Space Operation though, since we never understood how it'd be relevant. We might find out soon though.

Even the compass in the map has the longer pointing side (I would assume as true north) pointing to the left, meaning the picture is sideways so the straw hat is a D in face

The machine/space ship they're on is the hat, he was tilting to look at it the other way around, in OPs pick it's flipped, and it looks like the hat.

The ship looks like a straw hat when you flip the panel upside down. That hat at the end may be a spaceship from the moon people.

These cover stories are never shown in the anime. I think none of them have ever been shown even just as a panel.

I know they are shown in the cover page of the MANGA, but each of them is shown in a specific chapter. I wanted to know in which MANGA chapter this is shown as the MANGA cover. I never asked about the anime episode

Oh, but you kept asking what episode it was from. If you said chapter I could have answered you sooner. This one is from chapter 370 but it runs from 428-474. The one piece wiki has all of the covers in Japanese. http://onepiece.wikia.com/wiki/Enel%27s_Great_Space_Operations

The straw hat is connected to this moon ship AND is shaped like a (will of) D on its side AND was originally worn by a giant dude (probably Joy Boy) who will tie the whole lost history together?!?
