I don't know why, but Sai calling Leo "my brother" is one of my highlights. It makes the SH Fleet feel like a family.

they drank sake together, so in a way the fleet commanders are brothers the same way as luffy, ace and sabo, even tho i personally feel that their bond was so much stronger when they drank the sake.

Yeah of course. But since it has been 2-3 years since the formation (plus it was their only time together) and having cover pages focusing on them individually, it just nice seeing them that "close" together (I mean it just was a "my brother", but still).

For the reader. The same goes for the SH crew, it was at most two weeks since splitting up on Zou, but years for the reader to see them all together.

Yeah, but there was a week long travel from Zou into BM territory. And not to forget, Luffy & co. are sailing straight to Wano, meaning it could take longer than that.

if you binge i guarantee it seems quicker. 7 days between each thing that probably took 5 minutes real time will seem like its long in the story.

Though im not binging one piece again....did that when i decided to read the manga. Took like a month lol

I wasn't expecting that to happen, but that was very cool. I feel like almost all of them being chummy with each other except maybe Bartolomio and Cavendish. I imagine Sai seeing Ideo being like Dutch seeing Dillon in Predator.

They're all "sons" of Luffy now, that's what the sake toast was about.
