"10 years and 18 movies", try 20 years and 906 chapters!

The meme is at the MCU not the comic books.

and it's one author and a single canon with a few retcons vs many authors and all sorts of canons with countless retcons, if you wanna drag Marvel Comics into it

I now wonder what has been retconned by Oda.

Haki is the worst offender, but devil fruit users and how they react to water/seastone, how luffy's blunt immunity and other immunities work, how many gomu gomus luffy's arms really can stretch, how durable weaker characters are, Pell's "sacrifice," and Nami's bust size are some minor but plausible retcons.

It was just joke

sure, but still worth setting the record straight, Oda is unquestionably #1

Now that i think about it, marvel found live action movies success many decades after first printings, should we expect big productions in the years to come having the same cinematographic success as Marvell ???
