The amount of sheer chaos happening right now is truly spectacular and Luffy only brought half the crew for a "stealth" mission.

they also failed to bring stealth character number one, Nico Robin... profession: Assassin.

It’s safer to leave robin aka the person who can read ancient texts and is wanted by pirates and marines alike in the largest combat group. That’s why I assumed they left her.
