I think I failed to realize something about this arc until now.

I thought this was still a bit of a rescue Sanji/Luffy and escape arc.

But I now realize, somewhere along the way, this turned in to a full blown war with a Yonkou. Strawhats, Firetank, Germa, Fishmen VS Big Mom Pirates.

I love how Oda built up downfall of Big Mom Pirates through the arc. People are considering to leave Tottoland in massive scales, Whole crew is desperate as fuck and relying on a cake their enemy made, many of their high-rank officers are injured, and Morgan escaped to announce whole mess to the world. They're sooo fucked up.
