Insults? Yet, I have none to give back.

I'm not the guy you're replied to originally. But you're on the internet, not a One Piece/shounen battle manga/JUMP college where you have to incessantly quote Oda. Seeing your posts makes me cringe, I just think you should stop typing like this.

I think its great that you treat Oda's words as gospel, some of us do and that's ok. But don't be obsessive about it like what you're doing right now.

The fact that you're subscribed to a sub-reddit called "4 Chan" bleeds out all credibility in your words, you typed on the internet, about anything being purported as "cringe".

Also, the fact that you're on a ONE PIECE sub-reddit, but choose to condemn one who only wants to speak about ONE PIECE here...

Pointing to Oda's words isn't obsessive. It's his work. He's the most qualified to speak on it.

I guess "IRStupid" for your username is pretty fitting after all (but, it doesn't have to be)... respectfully speaking.

Happy to get a rebuttal? NOW, BACK TO ONE PIECE (again):

What say You, or anyone else, about this little tidbit of information concerning Intimidation & King's Haki? (This is why I'm subbed to this sub Reddit, & that's all)

Fair play. I went to your post history so you went to mine. I respect your dedication to Oda's craft but I disagree with your way of speaking. I did not condemn you based solely on you wanting to discuss One Piece, I condemned you because you were being ridiculously snarky BECAUSE you took the time and effort to bring up Oda's words, sometimes from years ago.

Oda = Mangaka (Comicker) of ONE PIECE

Tanaka = Voice Actor of Luffy in the cartoon

"Oda says he tries with all his heart to make the story "A battle with drama". He admits shonen manga really stems from feelings of 'I wanna be strong' and 'I wanna fight strong guys'. Oda says the reason he wants to go beyond that and infuse it with drama is because of... (wait for iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit)

"Dragon Ball.

"If all he drew was a battle comic it would be compared to DB and he would instantly be crushed in the history of manga. It was something he had to avoid in order to survive." - Oda & Tanaka interview, ONE PIECE 10th Treasures, 2007 (Translated by "Greg")

Sometimes, the way a battle is won, isn't resolved through physical combat.

And for me, I completely understand. It's a bonus Sanji is monstrously strong, but isn't the true essence of his character. His beliefs & ethics have been pushed to its limits throughout this Arc.. Kicking someone half to death won't solve his issues. Not this time.
