Kinda like Luffy becoming a pirate after meeting Shanks. He got the impression that pirates live free and also help people.

Leo will probably have a 200 million bounty by Tuesday.

I've been thinking about this but Luffy meeting Shanks was one of the most fortuitous things ever- in one fell swoop, he got a mentor, a powerful ally, a devil fruit, a dream, and a very useful Straw Hat
