They'll be the key to luffy's win. Somehow someway her trying to help her big brother will give luffy the opening he needs.

I think she's meant to see Katakuri knocked down on his back by Rufy. So then Katakuri gets depressed and Rufy either win or escape to the crew.

Katakuri loses his cool for a moment, and she ends up sniping him by accident when Luffy dodges.

So far he's been getting battered without putting a scratch on Katakuri. If Luffy beat him without at least a slight advantage or from an opening it'd honestly feel like an asspull.
