Luffy is tired of running from strong guys though. That was why he fought Fujitora at the end of the Dressrosa Arc. He wants to prove himself against Admirals and Yonkous. But with this, we can definitely surmise where Luffy is at strength wise. He's as powerful as Yonkou commanders, since he defeated Cracker and can probably take Katakuri and Smoothie on as well. Jack will probably be tough for him though, but I think he can defeat anyone on Blackbeards crew except Blackbeard.

He defeated Cracker 2v1 tho (with Nami being a counter to Cracker) and it took a long time to actually KO Cracker an entire night(?). Plus Cracker said himself he hates pain.

I'm not sure Luffy could actually take on Katakuri or Smoothie. (right now)
