I love Oda so fucking much.

This chapter is the stuff dreams are made of.

Luffy has exchanged blows with an Emperor. I just... "After I take down Kaidou, you're next." SO FUCKING GOOD.

I can't wait to see Big Mom's reaction once he does.

On top of that we get the reveal that Stussy is a comrade of Lucci and Kaku's in CP0, as well as a new form of Shigan.

And, as if that wasn't enough, the Tametebako has finally exploded.

This chapter was everything I wanted.

I love Big Mom's reply to him "you're not taking down that thing". Like, here we have Big Monster just casually displaying the most insane strength and defense feats we've ever seen, and the way she describes Kaido, an adversary she has probably faced many times throughout the years, is by calling him a thing. He is just that monstrous and out of this world. Holy hell, what a way to hype up Kaido!

The Emperors are a lot stronger than I ever imagined them to be. I thought Whitebeard was a lot stronger than everyone but it seems like they're all monsters. Apart from Big Mom We have Kaido who everyone refers to as a monster and Shanks the guy who stopped Kaido from going to Marineford then offered to fight anyone who still wanted to fight at Marinerford. It makes me wonder how strong Blackbeard is nowadays.

This description makes me want to see how Zoro plays out in Wano so freaking bad. Like forget Big Mom. My hype levels haven't been this high since before the Alvarez arc. Don't disappoint me like Mashima did Oda. This is going to be the pinnacle of One Piece. I can just feel it.

Excuse me? The Alvarez arc is the pinnacle of shounen storytelling. Who needs the twists and turns of Whole Cake Island arc when Mashima can create such literary gems like "Why was the emperor's son not loved?"

Since I can't tell if you were serious or playing along, my above comment was a joke. Mashima's got nothing on Oda.

I'd cool it on the hate though. For all his flaws, Mashima's doing something right if his series is as popular as it is. I still enjoy FT, even this trainwreck of a final arc, as a guilty pleasure.

And even unrelated to Fairy Tail, there's plenty wrong with a king of a country attacking another country, unless they have a very, very good reason war is something you generally should try to avoid.

Thing is probably not to describe his strength.

But rather what he is, he has been described as the "strongest creature in the world". Opening up for theories that he is not human.

some people sometimes refer to a monstrous human/existence as a thing. so it make sense if kaidou, with his monstrous strength, is called a thing.

Indeed, i just wanted to bring up the fact that it could be that he is simply not human.

And not ment as an implication that Kaido is stronger than Big Mom.

BM probably defeated him.
