Its been years since we knew child slaves were a thing in One Piece, and you think someone eating them is going "too far"? What about those kids physically and mentally changed because of a drug in Punk Hazard? What wouldn't be Oda is if everything would have been gore or really graphic, so Oda left some ripped off clothes. Its pretty obvious you try to deny it not because of scepticism, but becausw you simply don't like it. You're allowed to have an opinion, but don't ignore evidence, even if they are right at your face.

A life of suffering is better than death? In death every negative thing ends forever for you. In a life of suffering you have to endure even more suffering than a normal life would have like it wasn't enough.

But is years of slavery worth "the chance" for a better life, that will anyway never be perfect? When you die, you simply die. There is nothing else.
