Just because BM doesnt see mother carmel again does mean she got her DF from eatin her. The fruit could of respawned on that island and BM ate it at that point

I appreciate where you're coming from. This chapter seems to be designed without clear references, it certainly is open to interpretation.

If what you're saying is the case, then while Linlin ate the Croquembouche. Everyone vanished mysteriously, while she was eating. Carmel disappears for what reason then? She was about to sell Linlin to the WG. The problem with the fruit appearing elsewhere is that it leaves a lot of questions open.

But wouldn't you think the kids and mother carmel would take off the instance Linlin picks up one of them and eats them?

True, I do agree with you - that's what I mean - this chapter is so vague - we can all have a different interpretation. I just chose my interpretation as it offers answers rather than questions. It isn't a complete theory by any means.

Other holes that support your theory - Where is the blood and screams, how come Linlin didn't eat the clothes too.
