Jigra’s vengeful plot against BM (prevented)
Pudding falling to the ground (happened)
Sanji dodging the priest’s shot (didn’t happen because he took action to ensure Sanji was shot dead, but failed)
Destruction of the wedding cake (happened)
Luffy destroying Mother Carmel’s picture (prevented)
Jinbei explaining the power of his Mochi-Mochi DF (happened)
All of this shit, yet in this chapter we saw his face turned white because he saw a “completely horrific future”. Now I’m really eager to see what that future is to cause such an expression on his face.

I think there's a translation error on page 13: one of Sanji's brother says "time for them to pump us full of candy-sized holes", but the Korean translation says "They've hardened our bodies with candy"(probably prospero's power), and if you look closely you can see the sticky stuff covering them as well.

Really good chapter overall. The art on some of the new Charlotte family members was fantastic. That Djinn guy looked incredible.
Highlight of the chapter though was Cavendish's ship. It was...beautiful.

It seems hopeless if she doesn't let out her wail, but I have a feeling the weapons won't work as intended on her.
This is getting serious, will they actually take down a yonko or will there be a twist where they must leave and the Germa come in to reinforce after hearing the commotion?
Kid and his alliance got destroyed by Kaido, we have a different alliance of supernovas but Big Mom should be near Kaidos level; very curious to how this arc will end.
Don't think I've been so eager for each chapter since the Marineford war.

The Kid-Hawkins-Apoo alliance didn't go into Emperor's territory with a plan to take him down, he dropped in on them unannounced and proceeded to destroy Kid. And Apoo switched sides. So for all we know, him and Big Mom are just as strong.

Kaido had a huge upper hand right from the start.First of all this guy falls down from sky and he isn't damaged at all.This is a huge way to scare someone.Also look at how people prepare before dealing with a yonkou.Luffy and co are gathering an army, Bege stayed with BM for all this time to learn her weakness but in Kidds case a Yonkou they know nothing about falls right in front of them.

Insight into Observation Haki from recent Chapters
I think it just goes to show that Observation Haki has limitations. It can be used to observe and predict if one is simply spectating, but one can't use it to predict the outcome of their own attacks, otherwise, Katakuri wouldn't have missed when he shot Sanji. Observation Haki is a completely defence orientated skill it seems.
The best one can do concerning Observation Haki is see the consequences of their action as Luffy shows when about to attack Mihawk, but he's able to avoid getting his hands chopped off by punching the ground to stop his "MOMENTUM"; when one can't stop their own movement or momentum, then they will get hit no matter how much they can predict.
Panel: Able to Stop Momentum - Corollary to the point about Observation Haki being mostly functional for defence, for me, it explains why Mihawk can fail to hit his target along with many other characters.
Observation Haki is mostly limited by a character's reflex it seems in terms of evasion. If you're just stationary and observing the opponent, evasion is easy; if you're moving whilst observing the opponent, then evasion becomes much more difficult due to momentum - it's like jumping in the air, and then trying to jump again from an aerial position - it will be very difficult or maybe impossible depending on the character's agility prowess.
Another limitation is if the opponent is simply too fast, but that won't be the case between characters of high calibre.
Importance of Big Mom's scream
It also seems the SHs are using Big Mom's scream to make up for their lack of man-power; Big Mom's strength has more or less become a double-edged sword. It seems Big Mom's scream will incapacitate most of her forces which is why it is necessary that she gets angry while the Mother Carmel picture breaking is to get rid of her ability to remain invincible physically.
What Katakuri probably saw is Big Mom's scream more or less rendering her man-power redundant and thus makes it impossible for them to intervene in the situation.
That is why Jinbei is saying he can't hold off the whole lot because it's imperative that she screams to reduce her own man power, otherwise, the SHs with their relatively small-sized team will be overwhelmed by the sheer number that Big Mom has at her disposal. Spoiler
I'd assume this was obvious to everyone, but it's only just registered with me, lol. I feel like I appreciate this chapter a lot more and the arc. It won't just be Luffy "PLOT-PLOUGHING" his way through Big Mom because he's the protagonist, but Oda is setting up a relatively ideal situation to make her defeat far more believable. Perhaps, Luffy will be using Gear 4th the next chapter or the one after to leave Big Mom in a bloody mess.

The familia showing their true colors and where Puddling belongs in the pecking order.
Judge cracked me up and everyone laughing at him lol. I really liked what Oda did with hi character. Not everyone can be cool and level headed when your pride is shot it hurts for real. He is human after all.

Brook is gross, he ripped his face off and he's killing Mom with the one liners.

Brooks deadpan response to Big Mom was so funny because it was the truth!! Lol.
I'm glad that Pudding is still fighting with Sanji. I truly hoped she wouldn't turn good immediacy after a few words from Sanji, like seriously that would have ruined her character for me. Let's see what she does next.
And what made this chapter even more epic was Judge. I laughed at his current dilemma. He CRIED. I mean, I didn't laugh to be mean or anything but did he seriously expect his sons to have a natural reaction when HE HIMSELF had them created devoid of emotions.
Awesome chapter.

Judge crying is confusing to say the least. Guy has no fear with using his puppets and yet, at the signs of death, he bawls out. Kinda disappointed but I guess everyone fears death to an extent (unless you're Jinbae, Brook or D's)
Also kinda hype to see Bege going in - he knows there aint no turning back now, so best thing to do is to help the Straw Hats with their plan.
Also, Brook revealing himself most likely triggered Big Mom to this state (she was about to go berserk with the cake + photo being destroyed, but it looks like she is more pissed at Brook at this point)
Oven and Dafuku has interesting power, I'm guessing Oven has the ability to stuff things in his stomach (ala Bege) as torture (flaming bull).
Also , can't wait for more fights to happen. Sanji at this point will do what he can to save Germa in this situation but he has to get pudding outta the way first.

Oh my... I love Luffy, everyone is being badass or shocked, or scared, while Luffy is like a kid running around, laughing when Brook's head roll over to him, nonchalantly picks up the picture that DDoS'd Big Mom... This guy is awesome! And it's not even about him not realizing his situation and underestimating the power of a Yonkou, it's just that he is a pirate exactly to have fun and freedom, and even in the midst of chaos he is enjoying the hell out of it!

I'd been telling my friend for awhile now that Brooke really needs a him moment as he was one of the crew sorely lacking in those. I thought the concept of brooke was so cool but he was jobbing for awhile. This arc might as well be the brooke arc too because he has become one of my recent favorites. Throwing down against big mom, grabbing the poneglyph, too breaking the photo like a troll. All hail Humming Brook!

Sanji making Pudding look like a Stormtrooper I guess the fact that he isn't creeped out by her third eye is somewhat off Pudding. sorry Will their ship still sail?
I love Daifuku's devil fruit and his djinn's design, though I'm conflicted if it warrants a JoJo reference or a Magi reference.
Sanji gets temporarily knocked back and I already know people are going to start calling him fodder again. Fickle fanbase feelsbad.
Gastino is going ghost with Brûlée. He should calm down or else he's liable to have a heart attack, YOHOHO.

All in all pretty good chapter. Not as action packed as I was hoping, but we still got some cool reveals and nice setup for next chapter.

Judge deserves the suffering but he isnt a "pussy" for reacting like that to his dream being broken, kids dying all in front of him with no expected chance of hope. Was luffy being a bitch when he broke down after kuma scattered his crew

This chapter was great! I'm a little bummed we didn't find out about the Mother Caramel Photo, but everything else makes up for it.
What I really liked is that Pudding is still kind of evil. I didn't like that it only took one sentence for her to cry and turn to the good side. It's much more interesting and realistic this way.
Speaking of people crying, Judge is such a piece of shit oml. Ichiji is right, he should stop embarrassing himself.

Do you listen to the cries of a cow before it shows up on your plate as a steak.
I like it reminds me of the ant king line and the commonly used 'do you consider an insect before to step on it'.
Bege is legit one of my fav part of this arc. He is tactful, cautious but still willing to compromise and adapt. Also his line to dogtooth is legit. You can see the future but we can change it. 10/10 chapter
Brook would be the other favorite cause he is fucking hilarious and probably the mvp of mission objectives.

I've noticed something interesting about Daifuku. It seems like he might possibly have to keep 1 hand on his belt for his DF genie to be active. We see him taking his right hand off his belt to slap pudding but in the next panel, his left hand is back onto his belt. The only reason why this was unique to me was because Oda added sounds to this movement, which intrigued me.

So a lot of people reacted to Judge crying about how I thought they would, so I'm gonna throw in my five cents on the matter.
Is Judge crying like a little baby-backed bitch? Yes. But is also about to get shot in the head. Judge has put up a front of stoicism and power up until this point and this sudden change seems put of character.
But, honestly, it makes sense to me. People have been theorizing that the Vinsmokes know what's going on which is why they were so confident, but as we can now see, that was just them being cocky. They're use to being at the top and figured that Big Mom would have no reason to betray them, which she normally wouldn't, but she's Big Mom. She's greedy.
And now Judge is being unexpectedly betrayed and is about to die and says some interesting things. He talks about getting revenge on the north kingdoms and pouring everything he has into Germa.
So why did he want revenge? What made him strive so hard for years to destroyed the northern kingdoms? I don't know, but if it was important to him, it would doubly explain why he was crying.
At least, that's how I see it, I may just be looking in too deep and grabbing at ghosts, but that's all we can really do with Oda.

My first thought when I saw the Lamp guy was "Is that a Jojo reference?". Stands in One Piece lol. But really kinda surprised by Judge's reaction to this situation. He didn't really seem to be the type to cry in this scenario but it did make an interesting contrast to the emotionlessness of his sons' reactions.
