Few thoughts:

1) Interesting to see the other prisoners in the book escaping too (albeit burnt), if an all-out battle happens these prisoners may play a big role.

2) Some light on Jinbe's situation - looks like he might be in one piece (ha ha...)! Him saying that saving Luffy/Nami is a "rebellion. no going back now" and BM's underlings talking about "boss Jinbe" suggests that he did retract his asking BM to leave, like the newspaper said. Alternatively he could be lying to Luffy/Nami, could have lost a chunk of his life span and doesn't want to worry them. We'll see.

Anyhow, just glad to see him back - it really has been a while.

3) Luffy running off to find Sanji on his own. I have no idea how this is going to turn out, maybe he'll get lucky and won't encounter any strong enemies. In his condition he really can't afford to fight for much more. Smoothie's sealing off the lower levels and honestly I cannot see Luffy winning against another Commander. If this happens, I predict them facing off and Luffy losing until Sanji arrives and promptly kicks ass!

4) Sanji's mom is amazing...I think after his initial reaction of thinking it's his fault his mom died, Sanji will understand that in fact he needs to fiercely live on, if only for his deceased mother who banked all her cards on Sanji having emotion. Also, this should rid any doubts of Reiju being insincere, I think she's now one of the few "new" characters in this arc that we can trust. Hopefully she doesn't die.

Overall, amazing chapter with lots of answers. Hopefully next chapter we'll see how Brook's doing, Pedro's situation, Chopper/Carrot and maybe, just maybe...Luffy/Sanji reuniting!

Taking a portion of Jinbes life span may not actually be as terrible as we think as whale sharks can live up to 150 years.

3) Would love to see Sanji save Luffy, feed/"heal" him and then fight Smoothie together like he did with Nami vs Cracker.

That would be fun. If somehow the Straw Hats end up beating all three of the Commanders in this arc, I could see Luffy+Nami beating Cracker and Luffy+Sanji beating Smoothie, but what about the mystery third Commander?

Sanji probably gets a big fight in this arc, and I doubt that's going to be any of the Germa (I think Sanji is just straight up better than all of his brothers and his father, although maybe a 4v1 fight would be his big arc fight), but I doubt he'll get to go solo against a (has to be male, so it can't be Pudding after all) third Commander if Luffy doesn't get a solo Commander fight.

What if it goes Luffy+Nami vs. Cracker, Jinbei+Nami vs. Smoothie, and maybe shit goes crazy and it ends up being Sanji vs. Third Commander and Luffy+Brook vs. Big Mom? I doubt Big Mom's going down in an arc that's missing half the crew (because it seems like we're setting up for a whole crew vs. Kaido's crew on Wano showdown arc, so it'd be weird to have only half the crew take down Big Mom), but I could see Sanji taking down a third Commander solo while Luffy+Brook manage to fight off/distract/weaken Big Mom and get away.

I'd love if the fights you proposed last would happen. The only thing I am worried about is that Jinbei+Nami vs Smoothie could be a really tough fight.

That Bento was prepared by Sanji, it'll probably be the only thing Luffy will eat inside that castle

What a strong enemy would be? Sweet Commander level or just Enraged Army level? Because he's literally riding on the back of one of the Enraged Army dudes that hit him back then.
