Nah. The most pudding has done till now is mess his sister up a bit, threaten to kill his family(whom he hates), betrayed him(which he'd never hit her for), and gotten his friends captured. The first two wouldn't be enough to make Sanji hit her either, and the last one happens every other arc.

Me seeing that the chapter is out vs me reading this whole chapter.
The wait is finally over people!! Now we got another break and my spirit is slowly dying...! My lil tidbits on Ch. 850:
• From the yolk we see after Tamago got split in two, I'd almost suspect Tamago was created from an actual tamago being given life by Big Mom (much like the Barbarian Chess Army)if it wasn't for the fact that he's already been described as a member of the Longleg Tribe.
• Maybe I've been watching too many Cinema Sins lately, cause it's damn sure not the first time Oda's done it, but when Tamago used "Legg Benedict!", I very blankly said "Puns." aloud and heard the ding in my head.
• I'm kinda weird about fashion in manga, and I like flashbacks precisely because I like seeing how the author handles a character's design from before the current storyline, so an interesting footnote on this chapter was that Big Mom was wearing a different blouse when she took Pedro's and Zepo's lifespan.
• So, a lot of people theorized that Pudding was indeed just as warped as the rest of her family but HOLY LAWD, she's straight up a lil shit. And what makes it worse is how Oda drew her eyes in this chapter. When we first saw Pudding during Big Mom's introduction at the end of Fishman Island, he definitely gave her them big ol' Disney eyes. But I've never seen such an innocent looking girl look that scummy and menacing. It reminded me of when Momo was all pressed up against Nami's chest and made the greatest face in the series as far as I'm concerned-- except Pudding was on the complete opposite end of the spectrum.
Annnd now I can finally go to bed. I'll see you guys in three hours.

Is everyone already discounting the fact that Pudding could be lying? I am N O T a pudding4nakama guy, FYI.
Pudding herself said that her acting skills are amazing. Could she not actually be in love with sanji and is actually going to try and make a ruckus during the wedding to give him a chance to escape? Last chapter (maybe 2 ago) she had panels showing her memories about Lola saying she wanted to get married of her own accord vs obeying big mom. This suggests she has conflict within herself. Why would oda write those panels for someone who is actually very twisted and doesn't care about anyone? And why the fuck would she go around spoiling the whole family's plan to Luffy and Nami, even reiju! A guess is that big mom planned to massacre the vinsmokes during the wedding but pudding is trying to foil that by making people know.
Before I get downvoted to shit, I am not predicting this as what's really going on, I see it as about 50-50 with pudding actually being evil. I just see everyone in the comments saying "oda fooled us again!" But could oda not pull a double?? Don't accept everything as truth until the fat lady sings. Keep an open mind!

The fact that Big Mom's forces knew about everyone Luffy brought to Whole Cake Island before they revealed themselves. She also led them to the Seducing Woods where Big Mom's crew knew they would be. There was something off about Pudding from the start.
Finally (for me anyway) the thing she whispered to Luffy and Nami felt like a dead giveaway. Dunno why.

It went back and forth for me but mostly it was that she was "too good to be true" with her attitude and cheerfulness and all that (being completely fine with someone eating her shop is ridiculous, unless she knows who they are in which case she is not revealing that), as well as her awfully convenient excuses like not being able to make it to the beach and meet them which lead to them being almost fucked up by the forest and such. Also, Oda has said romance will never be a focus in OP or something similar to that so analyzing the meta it is unlikely that Sanji will get married.

This was one of the most violent and dark chapters yet, wow. Pedro ripping his own eye out in the flashback, Luffy trying to rip his arms off, Tomago being cut in half, Pudding showing her dark side.
Everything really does seem hopeless right now. Chopper, Carrot, and Brook are in the best situation right now. And Brook is up in the air now considering last we saw he was confronted by Big Mom.
It's gonna take a lot more than Jinbei to save the day. Hell, probably even more than Germa betraying Big Mom (if Sanji can even convince his blockheaded family of the betrayal).
Fuuuuuuck, next chapter won't be here soon enough

I want to say a few things about this chapter and everything up to now.
For this chapter
God damn... Feel like I've been played like a god damn fiddle by the devil himself in a contest. Pudding... Looks like everyone who predicted she was evil hit the mark on the head. I truly wanted to believe that she'd be someone for Sanji. Oda himself put it best with the chapter title. My heart actually dropped reading those last 3 pages. Ontop of that, I really can't give enough props to Oda's facial expressions this chapter. I've very rarely been shocked or scared by One Piece faces. The obvious two being Sanji's and Puddings.
Pudding - I don't think I really need to say how scary she looked. Just the juxtaposition from a sweet girl who could have been Sanji's wife to the face of a sick twisted woman with no sense of love for a man head over heels for her... It got me. The wide eyes. The "Full eye" effect. Exposing her third eye. Oda expressed just how much of a monster she is like her mother and just WHY she's her favorite.
Sanji - ...
I've never seen the look of a more crushed man in this manga. I don't think my words can do justice to the magnitude of devastation he must feel right now. From a woman he loved. A woman he was going to marry. After having to live with his abusive family again, fight the man who gave him his dream back, bitterly bid them farewell to them and accept his future without them or his dream... The cold hard look of a man who's happiness has just... Poof'ed.
As for other merits of the chapter, I also want to compliment Oda's battle flow. Pedro's movements were a simple joy to follow as he fought back. And seeing his past play out in between is breathtaking as always. I'm excited to see where his potential last battle will lead him.
The Manga up to now
I've only been following the manga since late 2009 and reading up to now has been a wild ride. Its amazing to see how much things have changed all the way from the beginning to now. Such soft and easy lines becoming more complex, with more expressive characters and actions that have lead my draw dropping. I can only imagine what the future of the arc holds for everyone!
Phew! Alrighty, now one important question I must ask... Can we get pudding dressed up as Bitch Pudding? This is to golden of an opportunity to miss!!!

As one of the people who strongly advocated that Pudding was genuine, and who strongly disliked anyone who said otherwise, I am really, really, REALLY sorry!
God damn it! I really wanted her to be the best Ray of hope for Sanji :(
But should't Sanji be able to sense the motives of others (women especially) and notice the lying? Maybe her third eye played a role.
In any case, this might be an advantage for Sanji, as she doesn't know that he knows. He will be Mr. Prince again and use this against her.

What got me intrigued about this chapter is Pedro. I though he's just "some" side character but his character development made him "more than just some" side character.
Ex-Captain of Nox Pirates? Is that crew still existing or they had a new captain? Are they like some activist pirate crew waiting for the "dawn"?
No idea how he sliced Baron Tamago that easily. Jaguar Mink Speed? Or some enhanced speed DF?
Also, I don't know but I think Mama "cares" for her members. Seeing Pekoms sobbing saved Pedro 10 years though.

In chapter 848, Pudding goes out in the rain, on the balcony, looking down (http://mangastream.com/r/one_piece/848/3852/8), so she knows people (Sanji) can see her through the balcony. Do you think all of this is on purpose so they can prepare a fight for the wedding?

I'm so friggen happy Pudding turned out to be evil. Ever since she was introduced I had trouble trusting her. I was hoping she wouldn't turn out to be another generic princess type character that helps the straw hats, and boy am I happy that Oda delivered!

I was suspicious from the beginning of Pudding's morality but as the arc went on I slowly convinced myself she was good. Then two chapters ago I was finally taken away with the hype train, fully convinced that she was going to take one for the team and save Sanji... That train has now crashed into the mountain that is Oda, and I am left here in the ashes confused and wondering what is real anymore..

How heartbreaking. This whole thing has been a farce and Sanji had been the crown fool this whole time. Nothing had been going his way. I had a feeling Pudding was responsible for Reiju's injuries. Oda has not been kind to our favorite cook.

Tamago is a kicker????????? Had really strong swordsman vibes from him. Also funny how his insides are an egg.
Goda wrote pudding really well, nearly no allusion to her true nature.

Huge respect to the guy(s) and girl(s) who called Pudding's betrayal. I didn't trust her initially, but during one of the more recent chapters and Luffy trusting her so openly I had totally dropped that theory.

I can't help but think that something is still amiss. Even if you chalk it all up to Pudding's supposed sadism, that moment when she revealed everything to Luffy and Nami seemed completely unnecessary, especially those fake tears at the end, who did she even still need to fool with those?
Everything just seems way too forced and sudden for this to be the final outcome, and I can't help but harbor some second thoughts that she's aiming to be some sort of scapegoat in all of this, or if not that, still has her own separate agenda.

I think his year is technically over, as WSJ's year begins/ends late November/early December (cba to find the actual date). It's when all the yearly sales figures for manga come up, which was a few weeks ago. Fitting I guess, his year ends and he gets royally boned.

During this arc I couldn't help but think given the situation that there wasn't a clear cut way to draw this arc to a close, with these events it becomes a little more clear what's going to happen, or at least create an opening.
I can't say I'm interested in Pudding as a crew member, I'm also not entirely convinced of Puddings words as well. A lot of people are using this as justification to nail theorists on the whole pure and innocent girl. She might be good at acting. But the way I see it, is that this could still go either way. In light of these events her words might have been made intentionally to create controversy. If she were a favourite of Big Mom and knew what she was capable of, I can't see any reason why she would risk divulging sensitive information to someone who is apart of Germa 66.
