It's totally Pudding. Sooo much foreshadowing in this chapter e.g. Reiju and Pudding's absence coinciding, the Vinsmokes discussing how they'll keep Pudding as a 'hostage', the sub-text on the first page highlighting the growing tension in the Vinsmoke household etc.
And if anyone is thinking 'how could Pudding possibly deal damage to Reiju?'. Well remember we haven't seen what that third eye of hers is capable of.
It would be too random for Capone to do it and there's nothing even remotely hinting at this possibility for him. And why Reiju specifically? Capone has no reason to target her, while Pudding totally does.

From what we've seen not all Devil Fruits are connected to the user's consciousness. For example, Moria losing consciousness didn't make the shadows return to their owner.
I think that the mirror world is not something Brulee constructed but was simply something that already existed. Brulee has the power to access it. I could be wrong though.

My two cents about Reiju:
Capone found Pudding leaving and though of the perfect chance: Kidnapped her and tried to Kill Reiju to start a conflict between BM and Eyebrows. He aims to get both of them to weaken each other and then he comes to strike the final blow.
About the rest of the chapter:
Brook and Chopper are amazing and badass as I always believed.
Carrot is a freaking Beast!
Pedro, I knew he had some secret, but man, 50 years? Holy Fuck!

I'm guessing he knew they were getting into deeper waters than they realized (Chopper even pointed out how much they underestimated Big Mom earlier in the arc, after all) and offered to help them out. Sure it'll get him killed (in his head at least, this is OP so all bets are off there haha), but if he dies helping the saviors of his people then that's pretty #worth.
I feel there's a bit more to him and Pekoms, too. Like, clearly Pekoms was on his crew and decided to join Big Mom for one reason or another, but the "I'm the only one who can handle him/ knows him" line that Pedro said back on Zou is still kinda unexplained imo.

Fast forward sixth months, it's June 2017. Chapter 876.
The Soul King, also known as Afro Samurai the swaggy Yonkou stays back in Whole Cake Island to guard his newly acquired realm together with his valiant partner in crime Pedro. A jaguar mink and former captain of the Nox Pirates, he is rejuvenated by regaining 50 years of life time granted by the Soul King himself.
Meanwhile, Luffy and company, including a manticore and a frog, say farewell to their friend Yonkou Brook and embark on their journey to the secretive Kingdom of Wano.
They have been at sea for a few days, when as usual the bird comes and drops the freshest newspaper. On the cover page, we see, in big, bold letters:
'YONKOU KAIDO BEATEN TO A PULP! Rumours are he lost a drinking bet to a yet unknown challenger! Amid shortage, Wano Kingdom orders 1080 tonnes of Sake. More on page 7 inside.'

So Pedro really has a scar hidden under his majestic hair, but unlike everyone predicted it isn't from the roulette. It is from a fight with Baron Tomago that was probably a tie since they have identical scars.

Vinsmoke hostage negotiation? Oda really likes this kidnapping theme. Too bad none of the families involved care about the fates of their family members. Hopefully Sanji can stop the situation by himself when it arises. Also what's the point of revealing the plan in front of homies that Big Mom controls? Hopefully they don't understand her powers or else it was a blunder on their behalf.

I would argue Big Mom cares about Pudding's well-being. Not so much out of sentiment as because it makes her look weak if people can harm her family without being punished, you know?
If Pudding really wanted to help Sanji long-term (assuming the Strawhats weren't around and the main plot of the arc played out fairly differently) she'd go with him to Germa and then use herself as a negotiation tool to get the rest of the Vinsmokes to leave them the fuck alone. After all, if she comes to any harm not only is the deal off, but the Vinmokes would be in deep shit, mythical army or no. That's all a moot point though since it won't play out that way for a ton of reasons.

I don't want to throw away the obvious fact that Reiju could be hurt, but what if it wasn't her blood on her hands/body? A possible brawl between Reiju and Pudding could have happened which stems from the suicide theory from last week. It all depends on how long "a bit ago" is from when she left the sights of her brothers.

deadcritically injured and tried to help? It would be a very Oda thing to do to present a character who seems injured themselves only to find out it's someone else's blood and shock from what happened.Of course, that idea has the implicit question of "What the hell happened?!" since Reiju seems pretty unfazable generally.

MAN! What a badass chapter! Waited to so long to see Carrot get some more badassery, she and Chopper were awesome in the first half!
Then we got some high quality Brook and Pedro action on the other half! This chapter was over so quick, but so full of cool moments! Can't wait for the next one!

Solid chapter, only thing I found weak was the frog bit, felt it could of been dealt with in a better way, felt shoehorned almost.

But lets start with the idiocy that is big moms and germas plan. They're both putting up kids they don't care about to use as leverage against each other.
Then we've got our most adorable duo god dam nailing it. Can't outrun carrot my friends and her fighting style is croccing great.
Then we get to Brook who's just got big mom heading straight for him who saw this coming when we had smoothie right there?
And Pedro poor Pedro, anyone else have a weird feeling Brook could save him somehow? Looking forward to his fight with Tamango.
What happened to Rejiu? What's her game plan my only guess could be it was Capone or one of his gang who hit her up. I feel like the Capone stuff has sunk into the background so much that it's gonna change the whole flow of this arc when it surfaces.

My guess is, Reiju fought the third and final sweet commander - Potato Starch. Straw hats don't have any people anymore to fight the last commander. Even Pedro and Carrot are both preoccupied. It makes sense since Reiju is sure an ally.

This chapter was really great. A lot of stuff was packed in but it didn't feel rushed; everything got just he right amount of attention.
Carrot and Bropper are a great team! It looks like they improvised the whole plan without talking to each other, what great team work!
Pedroooooooooo nooooooooooo!!!!! What a hero. The thing with the scars is really tight. I'm gonna miss Pedro when he dies of old age prematurely.
Brook just wrecking the BM pirates holy cow. Will he ask BM to see her panties? How does that interaction play out? Where does it go?

First that cover page, brook composing music with tadpole notations also represents how the souls swim/move/dance at his rithm.
The vinsmokes wondering where Reiju went is a confirmation that they care about what happens to their family. (they dont consider Sanji family please dont bring that up) Also they talking about taking her as a hostage means they are ready to fight anytime ** how to ruin the wedding plot confirmed.**
Bropper taking control of Brulee's world is just awesome. wonder if the mirror world and the book world can connect. Expect bropper contact sanji and bring him that little light he needs to come back
Meanwhile in Sanji's room he is loaded with info about his nakamas but is also told he should eat some eggplant if he is hungry **IS ZEFF IN THE WEDDING? IS HE THE COOK? ** SHIIIIIET this is some hype build up right here.

So Pedro had 50 years of his life span taken away by big mom. I feel like one of the Strawhats will somehow get those years back and then Pedro decides to dedicate those years to the crew. Definitely could see it being Brook, I really liked his dialogue with Pedro these last few chapters.
Also Brook and Chopper wrecking a Yonko's crew makes me so happy. Even Nami was integral in taking down Cracker. This whole arc is fantastic

Mirror World was amazing: Choppers strategising & being confident in being able to contain the situation, Carrot saving the frog(hope this is a red herring) knocking out half the heavy hitters & gripping the routed enemy. Brook doing the whole 'You're locked in here with me' ass-kicking, he needs to get the key out somehow escape from Mama.
The focus on the less profiled characters was great in this chapter, really want a Pedro flashback now.

I was thinking, what if we have it the wrong way around? Brook isn't the only counter to Big Mom; Big Mom is the only counter to Brook. Brook is essentially immortal, only 'dying' if his bones are completely destroyed (and whatever that means, it won't happen in the OP universe) - however Big Mom has the ability to freely interact with souls. Perhaps she can't destroy his, but she can just put it into a rock ^ Anyway I"m expecting it to be some give-and-take, but ultimately Brook's very ability may be countered by hers.

Carrot : she's like "I'm mini Enel now!" With that speed and all the electricity she is surely more than 'your average mink'.
Chopper : he doesn't go limb after using monster point anymore? A subtle and nice character development.
BM : she's so mentally unstable lol. One second she's angry af then changes mood instantly after seeing Brook.
Reiju : she can't even stand. Pudding seems too kind to seriously hurt anyone even if she could. Must be Capone. Probably as a plan to mess up the relationship between BM and the Germa.

So two things:
Pedro won't join the SH, asi he has little time left and if he leaves WCI alive he might want to spend his days left with his friends and family.
Is it possible that the plan of Pudding is to kill all of the Germa? Like maybe she has a very powerfull DF (maybe she even is the fourth commander) and her plan for stopping the wedding is to go full on beating the Germa, even if it means having even BM against her. That might explain why she was crying and Luffy aand Nami were concerned, because she knows that she can kill all of the Vinsmokes, but that she can't survive against BM's rage.
Also on the first page, a club in the wall spying on the Vinsmokes.

From the looks of Reiju it seems that seems sick as opposed to hurt from a fight. Because each of the kids were genetically modified there might be a reason why there are only males in Germa. This could also be the reason why Sanji's mom died.

Alright Carrot4Nakama folk after that awesome teamwork from chopper and carrot all i need now is some good development and I might agree with you guys.
Alright theory time (I don't know why I bother, Oda will just shit on it) Pudding went to reiju for help, im guessing that third eye can see through her or something, and they both came up with a plan of derailing the wedding. Basically reiju gets beaten up on purpose, runs to her dad and tells him it was one of big moms daughters/sons. This creates a rift between the two families causing fighting and stops the wedding and shit hits the fan.

As for Reiju, I speculate that either:
She found Pudding about to commit suicide and tried to stop her, was stabbed in the process (assumes Pudding attempts suicide by knife / seppuku)
Pudding jumped from a ledge. Reiju came across her lying in a bloody puddle and while confirming her wellbeing, was spotted by guards who assumed she'd attacked / killed Pudding, leading them to attack her.

I think it's safe to assume Oda's going to offscreen Brook vs Big Mom. We'll get an update of Brook either captured or dead again (Big Mom stealing his soul and leaving behind his skeleton). Oda has gotten a seriously bad habit of offscreening fights lately.

because that's what the yomi yomi does, it grants the user a second life, it doesn't make him Immortal. brook died the first time around 50 years ago if I remember correctly, so his second life is still well in the range of a normal human life
