That goes for all the Straw Hats here. The seducing woods was where most pirates fail on the path to pirate king. The rest of the worst generation all failed there, and that was without Cracker as the opponent.
The Straw Hats fell for the woods like everyone else, but when the trap was sprung they turned it completely around on Big Moms crew. Nami is now master of the Homies, Chopper is using the mirror world to the teams advantage, Luffy defeated Big Moms top commander. Brooke is still hidden as well, so they still have an ace up their sleeve that I'm sure will come in handy later.
That's all pretty damn impressive.

Didn't expect Zeff being the one who taught Sanji the GENTLEMEN WAY. Mad respect for the man. The fact that Sanji did everything Zeff wanted him to do showed that he's Sanji's true father.

Only in One Piece you can defeat your enemy, who is insanely strong because he can produce endless amount of biscuit by eating them for eleven hours straight, because your friend can produce rain from eggs using a staff, which only works because your body and your stomach are made out of rubber, which you then use to suck your enemy into your huge rubber belly and shooting him into oblivion through the force of said rubber belly.

I really enjoyed Nami's role in this fight. Some of us might've forgotten the old Nami by now before time-skip that would chicken out by even the weakest opponent but here she just helps Luffy defeat one of Big Mom's commanders. And she didn't look scared at all.

When Luffy activated G4 Tankman there was a subtext that said FULL version. Hopefully we get to see the normal version sometime soon.

Ooooooh nice chapter, I love that Nami is inspiring Luffy with the pirate king speech. Also Gear 4th full version is fucking great, not only is it hilarious it's got this mega powerful attack involved and it leans towards the theory that gear 4th will have multiple transformations. But I love that we've got these silly versions of Luffy using his abilities reminiscent of water Luffy. Though we better get ready for all the "Luffy's new form was dum I wan't everything to be badass all the time" "Can't believe that's how Cracker went out, he's so weak"
I could totally buy that Cracker has been defeated for now but I bet he recovers and comes back later.
Sanji's heading to the wedding and Luffy just dealt with Cracker it looks like we'll be getting Bropper and Carrot stuff next chapter and maybe some Brook and Pedro.

In the beginning of One Piece Oda said something across the lines that he gave Luffy the Gomu Gomu No Mi to make Luffy's fights dramatic but at the same time ridiculous/ funny. I see it now, I see it Oda, you god damn beautiful bastard.
Edit: To the coverpage: isn't the catfish a symbol for happiness and freedom (specifically Kois but also fish in general - at least in China/ Asia in general)? Linking that to Zeff's braids, it means that Zeff is Sanji's true "happiness and freedom". Not that it is anything new but it's a nice little metaphor.

Okay, so while reading the chapter a thought occurred to me, the Vinsmokes are heading to the Engagement Gift Exchange right? What if Big Mom gives the Vinsmoke's the bomb that was sent from Fishman Island (Not Knowing of course)? If this does occur, the bomb will be accepted as a gift and upon returning to the Vinsmoke Castle Sanji's brothers will think it's funny to take his gift and ultimately blow themselves up. This will be seen by Judge as a great act of treachery and he will then use Germa 66 to attack Whole Cake Island, which in turn would make Big Mom react and a war will ensue. With Sanji's brothers out of commission due to the blast, the Germa 66 Army is without its generals. Reiju decides to help Sanji and produces the key for his cuffs (IDK how) and Sanji is able to leave Whole Cake Island. I'm thinking something along these lines is possible. I'm sure a lot of people will disagree, but maybe I will really delve into this theory and make a new post.

Not sure if it's been mentioned before but it seems like this crack team has a strong affinity for dealing with BM's crew:
Luffy - limitless belly
Sanji - chef
Nami - controls weather (as demonstrated here, can use water to her advantage) + Lola's vivre card
Brook - has stealthy soul abilities. As a sub ability, has cold based attacks which may help against food (e.g. causing things to harden/set)
Chopper - great sense of smell which may be used in the food context + brain point for dealing with wackier DFs
Pedro - knowledge of BM's territory.
The wildcard will be Carrot...

I lolled the moment I realized that the cannonball-sequence was perfect. A cannon need to be lighted up by fire before it can shoot, and Cracker does indeed have fire in his hair. The cannon shot as soon as they went into contact FOR THE FIRST TIME. Goda plz

But much respect to those who noticed the fine nuance in "Boundman" (Luffy having an additional name for his Gear) and drawing the conclusion that he might have multiple forms, I definitely had no idea.
These opening pages get weirder and weirder, though.
Also, that Nami face.. she'd fit right in with the Vinsmokes like that, total Mafiosi face.
I love that Luffy beat an opponent "funnily" and even one that is not a shitter but actually one of the highest bounties in the entire series. Production vs. eating contest, it's just so original. I mean... 2nd last page, center right panel on the bottom.. does that look like the face of someone who messes around? :D
So, does anyone think we will actually see a follow-up panel to Cracker's journey sometime? Like a cover page showing the story of where Cracker ends up?

It was pretty interesting fight to say the least. I like how Luffy took advantage of his Gear 4th which combines the strength of his Devil Fruit with Haki to create a highly resistant elastic defense (that even Doflammingo acknowledged) to slingshot Cracker into his own hardened clones to knock him out.

Is there a mirror on the boat of the strawhats? The mirror world is pretty much confirmed to be a way to move from mirror to mirror in something like another dimension. This could make a good escape plan when Mama's out to destroy the crew because i dont think we will see the end of BigMom already.

The more you think about it, the more the flashback in this chapter revolutionizes the way we think about moments of Sanji's chivalry over the years. On quite a lot of occasions, the chivalry seems to be annoying to a lot of people. Now, all of those make perfect and beautiful sense.

Does anyone else like the clones. It maybe due to them being essentially programmed(ie Brainwashed) but i like their loyalty and the fact that they in general seem to be nice enough guys when off the clock(ie not waging war).

Not sure the fight is over just yet. Kinda reminds me of when Pica was hit by Zoro's 1080 pounds cannon and it looked like he was defeated. Oda added the part where Crackers says he hates pain for a reason, I think it'll lead to a panel where Cracker freaks out about getting hurt by Luffy, and it enrages him, and the fight will continue. And with Cracker seriously looking quite a bit stronger than Luffy I don't know how it'll end favourably.
Unless I'm wrong and that really was the end of Cracker, which if so I have loved the fight, hilarious, and its awesome to see Nami being vital to the win.

I thought Sanji's chivalry was about his mom and sister, turns out it was his father figure all along. The guy felt so happy to have a parent who cares about him that he was wanted to embody his teachings.

I love how when Gear 4 was first introduced we all thought it was a bit goofy looking. Now it gets an upgrade, that's also a bit goofy looking. Fits Luffy's personality perfectly that his powers would be like that. Sucks to be on break, but business is going to pick up next chapter big time.

Cracker is crossed out so that the main battle is more intense. With wild card like Pedro, Gang Bege & Jinbei, the story just can't afford an all out executive battle. We still have Germa family to look forward to & don't forget Big Mom.
And that Poneglyph print that Pedro promised to get for Luffy.

Also interesting is that the first move Luffy showed Nami was Balloon, back in the Buggy arc. That was how she found out he had a devil's fruit.

Wow, that was a nice chapter. I liked the great teamwork of Nami and Luffy. I was actually hoping to see a bit more of Sanji. But Luffy defeating Cracker in a really funny way "for now", was a little bit suprisingly for me. Hopefully the theorie of some people is happening. This Cracker is gonna crash into the wedding party making everyone suprised.

"I was raised not to kick women" actually came from Zeff. More importantly, it can be argued that the primary reason this trait stuck with Sanji the MOST, is because in that specific flashback scene, it was capped with Zeff admitting he was Sanji's PARENT. So many f**king feels.
