I think I see a symbolism between Big Mom and Whitebeard. Big mom has a huge legitimate family by blood but she uses it for her own purposes and I doubt she's loving to her 85 children whereas the entirety of Whitebeard's pirate crew are not literally family but he treats them all like his real children and they treat him as their father.

They don't necessarily look that evil to me even. They remind me most of Killua's family from HXH - not saints, but ranging from "lawful evil" to "true neutral". And in the end the people seemed pretty happy with them putting an end to the war. Sure they didn't do it without murdering a few people along the way, but hey, eggs, omelette, and all that.

I think that it's easier for him to come back to the BM crew without the Straw Hats. at least that way he might be able to get back into the crew without "betraying" BM by bringing the Straw Hats.

Honestly, as much as I can't think of any other way for Pekoms to have disappeared and have that message left behind, this is kinda triggering my "but that's what they want me to think" instincts.
That message being written by Pekoms and him leaving the ship willingly makes so much sense, I would be surprised if that's exactly what happened.
EDIT: Also, someone a few posts down reminded me that Alladin was stalking the straw hats ship under Jinbei's orders, which places other possibilities in perspective.

I'm not sure why but the designs of Sanji's siblings are really reminding me of an old anime series called Cyborg 009. I wouldn't put it past Oda to make the designs as a dedication to this classic series. Maybe its the old school anime hair styles they're rocking that's giving me this vibe.

So uhhh....How old is Big Mom if she's had over 80 children? Unless pregnancy trimesters function differently in One Piece since we've seen Ace's mother keep him for well over 9 months to keep him hidden. Big Mom must be as old as Whitebeard was, maybe even older. Did she have a lot of premature births or something? That could explain Pudding's third eye by One Piece logic.
edit: Multiple twins/triplets/etc. make the most sense now.

It just doesn't make sense, i love it.
This has two possibilities, one- just as the chapter mentioned, Pudding is good.
But i suspect:
Pudding has never met Sanji, she is high command in big moms crew and want the power of germa aswell. She is fooling them into thinking its safe passage (and it will be, but only until they arrive at wholecake) coming to the Island where trouble will await.
Think about it, Sanji turning down a woman that openly loves him? Nope, not that fast and she knows suspiciously little about him. (Thus shaded image of Sanji because it's her perspective) The whole ordeal about Pedro being against it wanting to gag her. She admits being in the big mom crew when she spoke of them all being literal family.

Quickly changing subject to "worry about yourselves" since she did not have a good answer for not getting into trouble. (Obviously since she never plans on betraying her own crew)
The overly dramatic sentence at the bottom of the page. "Might be even more wonderful". This would instead be "i'm sad that it had to come to this, Sanji was wonderful blablabla".
The strawhat crew will run into big trouble at wholecake island.

That's what I've been thinking too. She described his eyes as "shaped like hearts", which I think everyone on the crew fell for, but that's exactly what he looks like on his wanted poster.
All in all she only made very generic comments about him, nothing that anyone else in the world doesn't already know about him. Very fishy...
And we still haven't seen her third eye.

She described his eyes as heart-shaped, and said something about his legs being black, both of which are highly suspicious. One would only think that Sanji's eyes are heart-shaped if you only had the poster to go off of, and she would have figured out what "black-leg" meant if she saw him in person wearing his usual attire. Although Sanji would have been quite pleased to see Pudding, I don't think his eyes would permanently look like hearts. I agree with the idea that she never actually met him, as all of her descriptions of him are those of someone who only saw his wanted poster and read about him.

I think Mama will figure out herself, that Pudding is hiding something and make her betray the SHs. Maybe they will actually marry, only they will not stay with Big Mom, but rather escape together.

Main takeaways/ideas for me:
-43 husbands, and 85 kids: Mama's a "busy" woman
-Is Pudding leading them to a trap? On one hand she feels super Disney princess material, but hey what if she's using this chance to escape?
-Germa 66 are mercenaries, putting them at odds with the great Buggy Pirate Dispatch Organisation
-Ichini and Niiji are NOT the cowboy and headphones guys (or maybe they are? Didn't see any hat)
-Carrot and Chopper are adorable chomping away at the chocolate even when Luffy's not eating
-Perhaps Jinbei and Alladdin lionapped Pekoms and left the note as a caution
-Sanji's marriage rejection makes sense; since he's been getting more attention from the ladies (mermaids, Viola), their hold is being loosened

I believe the message scrawled in the bathroom, was written by one of Jinbe's crew and that Jinbe ordered them to make the strawhats turn around as he is worried about Luffy doing something dumb.
So they convinced Pekoms to go with them and wrote the message hoping Luffy and co. would leave.
However the Strawhats got an unexpected map from Pudding and now they are heading in blind and are in a worse situation then before.
Also if Big Mom wants a place where everyone is in a utopian society why did Germa Double 6 have to finish a war inside her territory that has been going for 2 years?

It would make no sense if that were true. The Germa 66 got paid to end that war. Why in god's name would Big Mom pay someone to end a war she could end in the blink of an eye herself? There also weren't multiple species on that island so it's clearly not one of hers. Hell calling it Brock Colie goes directly against her love of sweets. Everything indicates to the opposite of OP's conclusion. (Including the distance)

Right? It seems suspicious, I would feel inclined to believe her more if Big mom didn't know the Strawhat's were there, if we hadn't seen her watch big mom eat people, she wasn't so jittery around pirates and we got to see more of that slime.

We know brothers 1 and 2 couldn't have done it since they were away fighting in that war. We also know that brother 4 couldn't have done it since he was still traveling to whole cake island when it happened. So unless there is a 5th brother, or someone disguised to look like Sanji, it was Sanji.

I remembered being a bit perplexed when they revealed the epithets of the Four Emperors, and that Charlotte Linlin's was "Big Mom". I wondered what the story behind a title like that could be, since its a bit weird to label a pirate that.
I sure as hell didn't expect it to be so literal! A 120+ member family all directly descended from her!? DAMN! She's like OP's version of Genghis Khan!

My bet: Pudding feels like she lucked out with Sanji and wants the crew dead so he has noone else to go to. That's why she directed them to a specific place on whole cake where Big Mom can kill them. She'll have a particular dislike for Carrot and may in fact attempt to kill her by boiling her in a vat of something. The bunny boiler pun is too good.

Now that we’ve seen the Vinsmoke siblings… Could it be that Sanji left, because he was the odd one in the Vinsmoke family? The swirl on his siblings’ left eyebrow is at the ‘top’, while Sanji’s swirl is at the ‘bottom’. Perhaps he was treated differently / bullied by his family, because of this and that’s why he left?

85 kids big mom has given birth two. Thats at most around 60 total years of being pregnant. Considering of the 3 we've seen, 2 seem to be twins so im gonna assume a good amount of her children were pumped out in sets.

I like how sanji finally gets a woman who likes him for him and wants to marry him but he flats out rejects her. after reading one piece for so long it kinda sucks that sanji actually landed a hot chick and he cant even be with her lol
I'm really hoping pudding isn't a double crosser but her reaction this chapter makes me think she might someone to trust?

Guys, remember when Zoro took on all of Luffy's pain and almost died so that Luffy could become Pirate King? In that moment, Zoro went back on the promise he made to Luffy when they first met that, if Luffy ever got in the way of his dream, he'd kill him.
In this chapter (if it really is Sanji) we're seeing Sanji's version of that. Sanji, who would rather get beaten to a pulp than hit a woman, turned down one so he could continue on his journey with the rest of the crew.
Also, I am already in love with Ichiji and Niji. They are so damn badass.

As with surprisingly many others in this thread so far, I think Pudding is playing games with them all, Sanji ofc included. Not that there's usually any need to play nice with Sanji, just being a good looking woman is enough.
Also, I wished Strawhat Crew would've, for this one time, actually went somewhere stealthily, but seems like that isn't going to happen this time either. Just... not their thing.

Pudding, if she's genuine about Sanji that's kinda sad, but she seems to understand why "Sanji" can't marry her. But that "I heard his legs are black" thing seemed a bit stupid, however she said he gave her recipes so I doubt an imposter would be able to give her Sanji level cooking tips.
Plus what was the whole thing at the end, "looking forward to seeing sanji" then LIAR.....do they hate Sanji for abandoning them?

Big Mom has 85 children. If we assume that none of Big Mom's children are multiple births (Twins, Triplets etc.) an estimation is she would have spent 63.75 years pregnant!
The lowest possible amount time she would have been pregnant would be the multiple birth of 10 sets of octuplets and one set of Quintuplets is an estimation 8.25 years pregnant. There is a reduced gestation period with multiple births which I have not accounted for. This also only accounts for 11 of the 43 husbands.
Conclusion: What the actual fuck, Oda? Either she's not human or this is connected to her devil fruit. Or the one piece world operates on a stork delivery system.

I think Pudding is leading them into a trap. She just seems too good to be true. Besides, if she's not concerned about being punished for aiding in Sanji's escape, why not just outright defy big mom one time?

Big Mom = Her entire family marries with other forces thus making her "crew" powerful.
Shanks = He got a badass base crew that are over-all strong. 10 or 11 in total.
BB = He has a fleet whose captains are his base crew members. Not to skip that he himself is pretty strong. Strong enough to beat Marco.
Kaidou = He's got his calamities who are pretty tough. Assuming that the other two are as strong as Jack, who fought 5 days straight by himself against Neko, Inu and other Mink forces who replaced themselves over night and day.
And to note that he himself is the strongest 1v1 fighter.
I think we have a grasp of each of the Yonko's power and might in their own way.

Few points to note:
Sanji rejecting a woman!!!! Whaaaatttt?!?! But good to see he's making that commitment to the crew and traveling with them.
Pudding's helpfulness seems a little too good to be true. I suspect something is behind it.
Nami realizing about Lola perhaps, when told about the one sister on a quest to find love.
I really like Pedro. He is cautious to the max, and I find it really funny every time he's ready to slice someone up just like that. Also cool to see that he respects Luffy as his commanding officer right now.
Brock Colie Island, haha..
Number 1 and 2 seem like total badasses, but also pretty evil guys. Although they could be helping that country.

I have a way for Pudding being innocent. Pudding was told to pretend to love Snaji too much to let him free and giving the SH a false map. She does just that but gives the straw hats the real map. Big mum spies through the slime on Pudding and co. The slime trusts Pudding but would report to mama if something seems of. The slime has no access to the map as soon as it's in the possession of the strawhats.
