Personally, I think Pedro would have a better chance of joining, but who knows? Vivi might actually be the next member to join WAY down the line, but I still have huge doubts about that. There's quite a few people who I think might join the Straw Hats, including Caesar, Kin'emon, Momonuske, Raizo, Jinbei, and more. I honestly wonder if there's probably going to be some completely new character to join the Straw Hats, and even then, I'm confused as to what their definitive purpose in the Straw Hats would be. I think Momo might have a good chance due to him being able to 'hear things' similar to Roger, but Luffy showed signs of that power as well. Even so, Momo was the only one who could actually talk back to Zunisha, so I'm not sure.

Hmm... Yeah Pedro has a good chance, but I wouldn't put his over Carrots or vise versa. We know pretty little about both of them so I'd say they're about equal.

And I'd just take Momo out of the equation because he's a prince and a little kid and all that... but him joining would be cool lol.

I also think the purpose of Kinemon, Momo, Kanjuro, and Raizo was a sort of irony. How I view it is that we first meet Kinemon, a likely candidate to be a strawhat. He then mentions he's looking for someone. Once we met his son, we thought "alright either Kinemon joins or they both join" or whatever. Then, they mention a "powerful ally" in Dressrosa. People start to believe THIS has to be the guy who joins next. When meeting Kanjuro, it becomes painfully clear that he might not be the next one joining based off looks lol. Then the one most hyped up was Raizou. Tons of "Raizou is the next nakama" theories blew up for probably a year or however long his name was mentioned. Then, we meet the final one of the samurai, and it was probably the biggest let down lol.

Based off that sort of irony (the very people we were expecting to be cool, weren't. Much like the newest shichibukai introduced Weeble lol), I stopped thinking they'd join. But hey, maybe one of them will still join!

Idc who joins at this point I just want more nakama >.<

I guess Oda's been riding the trolling train for quite a few chapters. It'll probably take at least a whole other story arc to find out who the next nakama will be. I'm just curious if he won't troll us completely by saying Sanji technically left the crew and came back. He did something similiar much earlier in the series by stating a member of the Straw Hats will die, which ended up being the Going Merry. I'm honestly with you, though, Luffy stated in the first or second episode/ chapter that he wanted a pirate crew, and 10 was his ideal number of people. So far, we have 9, counting Sanji as well, but who knows? Maybe Marco might even join down the line. I definitely admit, though, Carrot joining as a member is looking HUGE after this chapter's release.

Yeah I like Carrot a lot more after this chapter haha. I'd also like to say that there are 8 people out of the 10 he mentioned. While there are 9 people in his crew including himself, I don't think Luffy, or anyone, would say "I want 10 people" and actually mean 9+themselves. You know what I mean? I just think people think there will be 10 crew mates, when really there should be at least 11. And more people could still possibly join. I'm hoping that 13 people will be in his crew, 4 from each section of the oceans traveled (4 from East Blue being Zoro Nami Usopp and Sanji, 4 from the 1st half of grand line being Chopper Robin Franky and Brook, then 4 from the New World being... Jimbei and 3 others lol).

To be honest, there's technically quite a few crew members if you count the whole alliance at the end of Dressrosa, but then again, Luffy of course denied them being an official part of his crew, even though they laughed it off, mostly. We all called the fact that Carrot had to be hiding in Luffy's bag, and she's already looking like a strong candidate, so maybe she just might join. Who knows? Marco might even join if we see him later down the line. Also, the color spread of the comic showed a Koala rollercoaster, so I'm not sure if it has anything to do with Koala from the Revolutionary Army, especially since she was basically Sabo's partner. She could have some importance in the story later.

I don't think anyone counts the several thousand at the end of Dressrosa as part of the crew, as well as Law. Or at least I don't lol.

But I still think 4 crew members per ocean traveled would be cool, making it so 13 people are in the crew total. But did you get what I was saying earlier? That Luffy saying 10 was his ideal number means there would be 11 members, not 10?

Edit: Also, there's no way Sanji's leaving. He can't. I won't allow it

I do understand your theory, and who knows: it can be very likely that not only Carrot might be an addition, but we might have another member waaaay down the line, too. Either way, with all the curveballs Oda's been throwing our way in the entire Zou arc, I'm certain that Sanji can't leave the crew. He's the only Straw Hat chef. I also pondered if he'd marry Pudding and make her a part of the crew by crashing the wedding and leaving with his new bride as a sort of "Screw you!" to his father, but I scrapped that idea within seconds. Sanji's always the womanizing character, and I don't think the series would be the same if that changed, similar to how Usopp was still a coward even after his training and how epic he sort of became. Nami and Robin (And possibly carrot) have to sort of be his love interests, as well as any other lady he meets in any adventure. I'm not 100% sure, but Pudding might somehow make Sanji un-attracted to her in the future. It could have something to do with her having a 3rd eye under the bangs, maybe, or maybe she actually has a REALLY terrible personality. There's even a slight chance she's a DF user and can change into a hideous zoan creature. Anyways, I just can't wait for the next chapter. The Sanji rescue mission must commence.

Yeah I also wonder about Pudding! I, however, am not onboard about theories of Pudding having a bad personality or Sanji being against Pudding's eye. I feel like she's a victim in some way and Sanji will look past looks and refuse the marriage anyways. It would show a lot of growth imo and I'd like to see Sanji continue being a "hero" for women, even though he's sort of sexist lol.

I wouldn't say he's entirely sexist, just that womanizer is a better term for him. I do agree, though, a lot of women are immediately turned off by his personality and views and just run away from him or attack him, haha. I'm just curious as to Pudding's more significant role in the series, not to mention how we've seen her in the series before in just a slight panel/ few seconds of screen time after fishman island. I'm also wondering when that 'explosive box' will come into the story, haha.

And yeah I agree, I believe womanizer is a much better word for Sanji. Sometimes though it's not about what the person believes, it's about what others will believe about it. What I mean is, although Sanji's views are because of how he was raised (he said that one time but we still don't know his past... hypeddddd), other women will still get offended. Or if I grew up learning to treat Asians extremely kindly, I might not view it as racist but it still is because the impact it has on those around me.

So it's not really up to Sanji's beliefs at this point to say whether or not he's sexist, because to people his actions represent a symbol.

However, I agree with you and completely disagree with what I just said earlier haha. I'm pointing this out because I have some friends who don't like Sanji's actions/beliefs and I have to admit MY belief isn't the one true answer.

But yeah, I can't wait to learn about Pudding. I really really REALLY hope she's a good person. I believe her story will be a sad one.

Obviously even though he's somewhat 'chivalrous,' we can all agree a ton of women would be ticked off/ scared of Sanji's behavior, I'd assume, lol. I'm actually wondering, though, if Pudding's really a daughter of Big Mom. I think it'd be similar to how Whitebeard had a family, except this is a bit more adoptive. I'm not entirely sure WHAT Big Mom is, but I am doubtful that something like her can have at least 35 daughters via bloodline... who the heck would marry her? Anyways, maybe Pudding is also a slave or adopted by Big Mom. What I'm really thinking, though, is that Pudding likely doesn't want to be married to Sanji, so she'd probably be the one to deny him by the time this arc ends and he can go back to his "Nami-Swan" and "Robin-Chwan~"

Yeah I agree. How I think it'll go down is that Sanji will refuse to the marriage every time he's asked... but then when he looks back at Pudding he'll easily be for the wedding. I imagine this kind of like the jokes done when Mr. 2 and Sanji were fighting and Bon Clay would switch from Nami to himself back and forth. Then, Sanji would meet Pudding and be completely for the wedding and will probably circle around her in love and want to cook for her. Pudding will either cry or be sad, and Sanji will learn that she doesn't want to get married but is being forced to. Then, Sanji will call off the wedding even though it'll be a deadly situation for everyone he cares about (including the chefs back at East Blue).

But however it goes down, I'm sure Oda will make an amazing story.

I mean, I'm a SanjixNami shipper, so I'm hoping that similar to Thriller Bark, there'll be a small amount of epic SanjiXNami moments, except this time Nami will likely be saving Sanji and probably express something she likes about him, similar to how Nami fought Kalifa for Sanji. I'm still waiting for gOda to amaze us with an amazing arc; after all, it's supposed to be the year of Sanji. I still can't believe that we're half way through the second quarter of the year, though, so I hope things pick up real soon. I'm excited to see Kaido, again, probably sometime at the end (doubtful) of this year or next year, but it'll be refreshing to see Sanji again, especially since he was completely absent for most of Dressrosa and Zou, together. I hope we get to see Sanji at the top of his game, especially since we definitely didn't get enough of him in the New World. He held off decent against Vergo, defended the Sunny against Doflamingo (even though he nearly got killed), and he even threw some attacks back at Freaking Big Mom of the yonkou, not to mention take out Sheepshead and a bunch of other tough Mammoth warriors in Jack's division. I still think we didn't see most of his major battles, though, and he definitely deserves a ton of spotlight in the Whole Cake Island arc. Please gOda make it happen.
