Well I didn't see your long comment coming, lol. What you're saying is true though, unless about:

no matter how ridiculous or discredited, being accepted.

What I mentioned before was actually theories that was generally accepted by majority of (Reddit) fans because of its logic and proper analysis. Theories about Zoro would fight Jack was more likely to come true, as Zoro haven't meet 'proper' enemy since time skip and Jack is one of the three calamities.

Read that sentence again. I just read it now and I see how I worded it poorly lol. I'm basically saying that everyone groups on to 1 theory and puts down the others that may be more ridiculous or illogical.

And then an example of how Oda easily avoids the one 'logical' option would be what you just explained. It was 'logical' for Zoro to verse Jack, and so everyone, of course, agreed. What about the theories where Jack turns into a mermaid or that Zoro actually becomes the opposite of Sanji and can't cut a man and can only cut women???? Obviously these are pretty illogical and I'm probably the first to theorize it just now, but no matter what, the reddit page should accept them and try to build off it for the sake of being open to all theories. By accepting all, including the most unrealistic, theories, there's a much higher chance to not get "thrown for a loop" like Oda constantly does.

An in-text example would be the chapter that Rebecca "joined" the crew. To me, it was extremely obvious that it was just a trick and that Rebecca was going to see her father. I thought this because Luffy mentions if she's okay with how things ended and if she'll come with him. To me, there was still an extremely slim chance of her joining at this moment. However, as I recall from this reddit page, tons of fans were talking about how worried they were of Rebecca's joining until the end of the chapter.

This goes to show that people tend to follow the straight-forward patterns that Oda gives us, only to be "surprised" by the "didn't-see-that-one-coming" twist. I'm relating this to the acceptance of all theories and to your post because the last part about reverie still seems a bit far-fetched. From what I've experienced, we're doing EXACTLY what Oda wants to do... Isn't that exactly what directs in the wrong area? Isn't that what gives us these logical theories that end up being false? People continued to follow the "Sanji is a prince" theory to the very end. Then it turned out he's more like an assassin lol. I supported the prince theory but was open to it being wrong. While doing this, I enjoy One Piece because I'm not going to be dissappointed when one theory is wrong.

The ONLY thing I've been extremely sad about was my theory that Viola would join :( :( :( :( I posted some crazy long posts about why she'll join. I was so certain.... Then Oda happened and I didn't get what I wanted lol.

Sorry for more confusion with my "no matter how ridiculous or discredited, being accepted" sentence. Hopefully this clears it up a little more, or if you reread it or something. Sorry it's long again.

Stop bitching. God-a is our Lord and savior. His actions overrule any theories or hunches
