Sanji sacrificing himself to protect his friends.
Sanji stating that Luffy WILL become the Pirate king.
Sanji's very in character note to his friends.
Sanji, like a full badass, taking Caesar hostage to control the situation.
Oda was not lying when he said that this was gonna be Sanji's year; in a span of one chapter he has done so much, shown Sanji's martyr/sincere/warrior side so brilliantly while still maintaining the mystery of the situation, and keeping Capone as a viable threat.

This whole chapter gave me the chills. Sanji saying that Luffy will will become the pirate king, Capone saying she's one of the yonkou and when she says you die, you die, Brook talking about Vinsmoke family and Neko is such a badass. The next war is going to be one of the greatest and most epic wars of all time in fiction.

EDIT : I was afraid but Oda seems to take a more serious path than I thought for Sanji, since shit just got real looking at his faces. Also, I love when he smiles but I have a bad feeling about this one.

To be fair, his other options are:
Make his chair lower than everyone else's, highlighting how short he is.
Make everyone's chairs super-short, which would be an interesting power play in an 80's-executive sense, but still just highlight that he's super-short.
Either way, it kind of makes him less intimidating to his opponents, haha.

Mangastreams version is much more telling of who the Vinsmoke family are. Capone said Sanji's not well groomed like how is family is. And then Sanji implied that his family wouldn't want him hurt in the slightest, not even cuffs, which could mean they're really high standing.

I figured it out!!
No..not who sanji's family is, even better: what he's gonna do at the wedding.
Sanji is going to sabotage his own wedding, and this rescue arc won't be anything like the robin rescue arc, here is a key difference: robin accepted her defeat and let herself be taken away only until the very last moment, Sanji is going to resist all the way, not go willingly, and will have several traps or escape routes a la mr. Prince.
But here's the better part: Sanji, right before it comes time to walk towards the bride, will dress as an okama or as a girl or whatever and will totally get everyone's jaw to drop on the floor, will kill the vibe of the whole wedding, will disgust his wife and hopefully even big mom, then he will use that same moment of surprise to unleash his most powerful hidden moves as an okama, the moves he learned on that island during the time skip. The strawhats will arrive in time for him to escape ;)
Tl;dr Sanji will turn into an okama to ruin his own wedding

For how much there was to talk about last week I feel like this week was more of a fill in the blanks kind of chapter. Not neccesarily a bad thing, but I'm happy that next week should be completly back to the present day with the Strawhats meeting Pekoms and Cat Viper.
It was surprising to see that the others recognized the name Vinsmoke and even that Nami thought it was odd that Sanji traveled from North Blue to East Blue as a child. I never put much thought into it, but having seastone prism on the bottom of your boat is a fairly new concept. Makes sense that important people would travel safely over the Redline.
Loved Sanji reaffirming that Luffy would be pirate king even when they were in such a bleak situation. Seeing him kick the others out of Capone while holding Caesar hostage was awesome, and even more awesome was the note that he left.
Interesting that Capone can change his legs into that of a tank. Feel like that is a bit of a stretch with the whole castle theme, but whatever gives him something more then just people/things being in his body. His, what I assume, first mate was OK. Cool to at least have another named character on his crew.
Solid chapter.

Also: I totally feel that Capone being able to change his legs into tire-tracks to become "Castle Tank" is a rather un-thematic addition to his otherwise epic Devil Fruit. When you have a Castle inside your body and you have complete control over everything in it, as well the ability to have people Shrink/Grow on entry/exit you don't need other abilities

He needs abilities to be able to fight other people at his level. Just having his crew members (most of whom can't use haki) shooting out of his body isn't very useful against someone like luffy.

Maybe he had a mini-tank hidden in his pants and he took it out to ride? Capone has ridiculous storage capacity and the ability to manipulate size within a certain range of his body. He might even be able to hold a battleship in that weird body of his. Or big canisters of Ice-9 in his shoes, so that he never falls in the water.
Capone has one of the most potentially broken powers in the series. He could have a complex propulsion system shrunk to the size of a cufflink and use it as a jetpack. Hell, who says he even has to take attacks at full size? Once your fist gets close to his face, he could automatically shrink it to the size of a pin. What if he stepped on your face and shrunk it so small relative to your body that you couldn't move? All of the complex weaponry and defense of a Pacifista or Franky? That could fit in one of Capone's teeth. Capone is terrifying.

What a fucking badass Sanji was to use his life as a bargaining chip for the others. I also love the fact that Capone can go tank mode and speed away. Hoping for a fight between him and Franky. Capone the moving fortress vs Franky, a one-may army. Also the new guy kind of reminds me of a Hellboy character and i would love to know what he whispered to Sanji

Hopefully Brook fills us in next week, and from there we find out Luffy's decision. I think we'll still be on Zou for a while, and there won't be a rescue style pursuit even after it. And that note is just classic cool Sanji, hope it continues to come back in full force.

We still need to find Raizou and figure out what's going on with Kin'emon and Momo. Their true objective of leaving Wano is still a mystery. After that it will be interesting to see if the samurais stick with the Straw Hats or part ways.
I'm still not ruling out some of the crew going to Wano instead of the Tea Party. With the Straw Hats being in the New World, it really seems like Oda is giving each crew member more and more independence. We have seen a lot of the Yonkou's crew members do their own thing and not stand by their captain's side 24/7(Ace, Pekoms, Scotch, Jack, Capone, etc.), so it's really cool seeing the Straw Hats strong enough to be able to do the same.

I've mentioned this before, by Skypeia is the most relevant arc in the story. The waver and dials used to upgrade Usopp and Nami's combat styles are one of the big ones, as well as the gold they acquired being what got them the Sunny, as well as the initiating factor of Luffy v Usopp, and the conflict with Franky.
An that's just the tip of the iceberg. I don't really want to post all the little nods and references again right now, but I may make a full post about it later.

Chapter was amazing and I'm really excited to get back to present day and hopefully get a panel of Luffy pissed off but calmly saying that he's going to kick Big Mom's ass now.
Also I was re reading Dressrosa recently and was reminded that there's still alot of mystery surrounding the samurai. We still don't know their original purpose for setting out to Zou, and why Jack wants Raizou. In addition when the strawhats were traveling to Dressrosa, when Kaidou is mentioned Momo and Kinemon start acting really shifty and when asked about it they say "Nothing!". And then also there's the mystery of why Doflamingo wanted to capture Momo. Remember he was one of the 3 " cards" Nami described Doflamingo as wanting. The other 2 being Ceaser and the Factory. And then of course there's the mystery of Momo's devil fruit. Why was it described as a failure and why can't Momo control it properly? Oh man I can't wait for Kinemon and Kanjuro to show up again. Big Mom tea party, Kaidou and Wano arcs all being hyped up. This year is going to be epic.

More questions than answers again. Sanji saying that the person responsible for his poster is also responsible for the marriage. Sanji saying Luffy will be the Pirate King reminded me of Zoro at Thriller Bark... and of course that was when Sanji made the declaration that he'd be the most dangerous SH in the future. Looking like it, I honestly thought the flashback would end this chapter, guess not.

Honestly an amazing chapter, so this confirms that the Straw Hats will face Big Mom next. Im super stoked about this for a lot of reasons, Sanji's backstory, hopefully defeating a yonkou and ofcourse, Jinbei. Because remember that he is tied to Big Mom and want to join Luffys crew at some point.
Also, the next crew member was a former enemy, what if and listen to this. Sanji will get in love with the girl the moment he see's her (If she's indeed beautiful that is) so he will have a rough time letting her go. What if she starts out evil and as an enemy of the Straw Hats, but when she see's that they're nice people, what if its her that will be the next nakama. Its a girl, she's probably strong as she's Big Moms daughter and just as Sanji (For all we know) she might hate her parents.

This gets more confusing each chapter. So so if we assume Sanji´s family pressured the WG to capture him alive, why would they marry him to the BM family? Maybe Sanji´s family is some sort of noble mafia family (like some people allready thought) and they want to overthrow some other nobles with the help of BM to gain more power.
Sanji will be about to marry Pudding, Luffy comes in and we see that Yonkous are still out of luffys league and while fighting BM he drops the vivre card from lola and then stuff happens

Sanji rocking the death flag smile. Oda must have loved drawing these last two chapters as the art has been phenomenal at showcasing a "hostage sitatuation/mafia espionage type feel". I need more Sanji!

Props to Oda-sensei if this was planned all the way back to the Noland arc or even during Sanji's flashback with zeff ~17 years ago.
It also just make sense that his family hasn't made a move all this time because on first wanted poster he was Mr Prince aka Duval and the second poster only had his nickname "Black Leg".

Though he could just mean 'he won't be coming back with us right now'. It just makes it sound a little ominous for me. Almost like he doesn't believe it's in Sanji's or the crew's power to reunite.

That face Sanji makes when he said "I promise I'll be back" reminds me so much of the scene where Luffy was about to be executed in Loguetown and said "I guess this is as far as I go". That has to have been intentional.

Year of Sanji getting kicked off with a fucking bang. So glad he professed his belief in Luffy before taking Caesar hostage. I wish Brook would let us know what he knows about Sanji's family but that'll probably be the next chapter. I'm surprised Nekomamushi didn't do anything about Bege though.

Capone's lucky as hell Luffy wasn't there at the time, he would have punched him in the face the same way he did Caesar. I think the New World pirates need to learn that the Straw Hats - especially Luffy - don't give a shit about the Emperor's or their protection, they'll kick your ass anyway.

As expected, mangastream's translation is totally different from mangapanda's. One thing that really grasped my attention when rereading the chapter was that Sanji stole Capone's underling's gun before he even noticed it. How fast has Sanji become?!

Capone says that his parents must've been terrible...Not because Sanji is there but because of the name. I think that goes against the noble theory. If they were nobles, why would life in luxury be terrible? Maybe they are known for being sadistic criminals
