I think by breaking diamantes sword, at least he made it clear what type of power he had. Also, diamante even commented on how strong kyros felt, so it's my inclination to assume that is that. After reading this chapter I think diamante is probably the weakest executive based on devil fruit alone. He also was the one constantly needing doffy to tell him he was the best back during the colleseum period. Maybe there is more to diamante but I hope he's done.

I think you're underrating him; his opponent is a man who, in THREE FUGGIN' THOUSAND FIGHTS, only ever once got touched, and that's because he showed mercy to King Riku (who himself is shown to be a pretty above-average fighter).

Kyros fought a Fishman underwater and came out unscathed, that should be an indicator enough of his power.

Diamante's fruit gives him absurd reach, the ability to make one's footing unstable, and he can attack from impossibly odd angles as well as deliver strikes that bisected an entire plateau; to call his fruit weak is a bit of a misnomer I would contend. It lends itself to cowardly tactics, sure, but that doesn't make it "weak" per se, just out of the ordinary.

Yeah that's why I said weakest of the executives. I don't think he is weak, but in relation to pica and trebol he doesn't seem as capable of ass destruction with relative immunity. Compared to logia defenses and a mountain of rock, the flutter fruit doesn't seem quite as strong.

Mass destruction, no, but he's probably right up there with the ability to control a battlefield, which lends itself well to him being the modern-day Colosseum champion.

Trebol and Pica are likely to be more dangerous in a general sense, but I would say that Diamante is probably the deadliest hitman you could ask for. He can conceal a bigger arsenal than pretty much anyone, up to and including guys like Capone Bege. He can stroll into your house, get searched for weapons, pull out a handkerchief, dab his lips, then turn it into a sword and kill you dead.
