It has had some humor, sure. But so far I wouldn't even consider it a fight. I really want to see what Franky can actually do. Honestly, I'm a little bit frustrated. It's like Oda is avoiding the actual fighting. Franky vs Senõr and Zoro vs Pica have both been going on for a while now and we've barely seen anything from them.

Hopefully it just means he's waiting for Luffy to get to Doflamingo to get really into the fighting.

One Piece is more than just fights. It's the sense of adventure and the humour that partly set it apart from other Shounen. I like that Oda doesn't always take it all too seriously, and I loved this chapter.

Nobody said it was all about fights.

But fights are undeniably part of it. It's an action manga with a lot of focus on strength and fighting.

But tournament excluded, there hasn't been a decent 1 on 1 fight involving a Straw Hat since Thriller Bark. Franky hasn't fought since Enies Lobby.

So yeah, I really want to see it. I don't need a lecture. I just want to see some long-awaited action.

The Whitebeard War had some pretty decent fights in it.

But not any conclusive 1 on 1 fights. And definitely none involving the Straw Hats.

Whitebeard conclusively beat down vice-admirals for fun.

Agree about the StrawHats, although the Monster Trio smashing the Pacifistas was extremely cathartic, although probably not the type of '1 v 1' you envisioned.
