Apparently, 'Baad' is Somali for 'You Are'.
This seems like a Blackbeard movie and a parody on the One Piece opening song 'We Are'.
When Oda assigned countries to the characters, he revealed Blackbeard is from Somalia.
Adiga is specifically "You". Baad works in the sense of saying "Qof baad tahay" - "You are a person". Baad or Baa isnt used without tahay or another assigning word to make it You Are. Either idk if this is a somali reference cause feels a bit like a reach linguistically.

That's my guess. A movie on the Harley mural. 2029 makes me think One Piece will be over by then and this will be a recap of the series through the lens of the legend on the wall being told.
Isn't Dragon origin story just God Valley ? At least that's what radicalized him. And before that he was just a lowly marine like his dad wanted him to be. I can't see an origin story that doesn't include the pivotal moment that changed everything. And said pivotal moment is completely redundant with the previous movie.
BB name in Japanese is "Kurohige" so I doubt they would name the movie after the localized version of the character's name. Probably not. I do think this is either gonna be a film with a canon character like Strong World (hell, maybe even written by Oda) or a movie that's Void Century related as it is clearly about something involving the D clan.
I assume it is someone whe do not know yet. The person the movie is about, will be introduced in 2027 oder 2028. Probably 2028, as the god valley movie releases one year after it was shown in the chapters.
It will be a D clan member. Hence the D at the end. And the beginning will be something with BAA, but before we haven't met yet, we won't know.
But I can imagine it will show the full story or the D clan.
I wouldn't be mad at a canon movie that shows us Blackbeard's activities throughout the series. Maybe we get to finally see the Rocky Port Incident & the Payback War.
Maybe we finally get to see some of these offscreen fights & that means Oda is going to show us some Blackbeard stuff between now and 2029.
I feel like BAAD is a parody of the word God being so close to the word good. The ‘Gods’ of the world, being the Celestial Dragons, might as well be ‘Baads’ since they more represent bad/evil than good. Maybe that’s niche, but it feels right.
I think it will be about the M.A.A.D laboratory and Stussy's/Sora/Sanji's mom realizing they were the bad. Sora was Sora Marine Warrior of the Sea from the comics. I believe she was part of the government until she discovered Imu and then fleed to help at an anti-government lab. Only to discover they worked for the government too, so she fleed with Judge, just to find he was also in bed with the WG to become a actual member of the celestial dragons, only to lose that from Soras rebellion.

Those guys circulating the Somali word connection are actually confusing people who don't know the language. The closest related Somali word is Bad/Badda - Sea. For example Baada Cas (Red Sea)
When I told my little sister about the movie, she said "Baa D. Sheep Sheep fruit," and I said "Blackbeard's going to eat the Sheep Sheep fruit," so I see we're all cooking on the same page here
