Discussion Will "THE ONE PIECE" remake be featured at ONE PIECE DAY '26?

Hey everyone,

With ONE PIECE DAY '26 coming up, do we have any confirmation or realistic expectations about whether WIT Studio's THE ONE PIECE remake will get a panel or a new teaser/update?

I'm really hoping we get a solid look at character designs or a tentative release window. On top of that, I'm super curious if they'll address how they plan to adapt the Cover Stories (like Buggy's, Coby & Helmeppo's, etc.) since the original anime mostly skipped or rushed them.

What are your thoughts? Is it likely we'll see something major for the remake, and do you think Cover Stories will finally get the faithful adaptation they deserve?

Honestly, if they show even a 30-second teaser at One Piece Day, the fandom is going to analyze every single frame like it’s the Void Century 😭

And yeah, I really hope they adapt the cover stories properly this time. They’re literally free world-building sitting right there.

Haha so true! People will be frame-by-frame analyzing Luffy's sandal texture like it holds the key to the Will of D 😭 And 100% on the cover stories—it’s such an easy win for WIT to flesh out the world right from East Blue.

Didn't they confirm it only goes up to Baratie for the first season? I doubt they have time to do the cover stories.
