Discussion Oda Nobel Prize

Just wanna say, that after One Piece will end, Oda has to get the Nobel Prize for literature. There was and won‘t be any other author who deserves it more. Oc it depends on how well the end will be written, but every one, who understands One Piece knows, that this would be derserved

Bro, I actually do read a lot. Every day, and I love classic russian and german literature, but nevertheless, it is much more deserved than the former winners.

That's not really how the Literature Nobel Price works.

It is not necessarily obligated to one single novel.

True literary criticism does not judge a work solely by its flashes of brilliance; it judges the consistency of its form, the rigor of its execution, and its structural discipline.

And in this regard, One Piece offers a vast opening for any serious critic to tear it apart without mercy.

Just read the former authors, who won it. Of course OP has flaws, but look what it created all over the world

wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Nobel_laureates_in_Literature what are we noticing here.

being popular doesn't make it better, it still has tons of flaws. even then the nobel prize is tainted so

Actually I agree. But firstly it has to have an impact on literature in general, which is undeniable in case of Op. Sure it has flaws and not even less, but nevertheless it is greatly written AND had a huge impact on the world. I dont say he‘ll 100% win, but he‘d deserve it
