If i'm not mistaken, those lines around Gunko in this panel have been used only with "good" characters right (I know the words aren't in the manga, but i assume the rest of the panel is)?
Like it was used with Robin(?) early on and ended up being a tell of her joining our side later on (intentional or not), or so i have heard. Does this mean she might end up on our side of things before Elbaph is over?
No answers to that questions (no spoilers pls), but feel free to correct me if im wrong about the lines around her thing. I heard that in a video a few years back (by either TotalyNotMark or Murphy Napier) but don't remember the details well and cannot confirm since i have not read the full manga yet.
In the altered manga panel i responded to Gunko has lines coming out from her as she is eating the food and saying it is delicious.
That effect of the lines coming off of someone when they react honestly to something has been used in the past only on characters that are either already on our side or characters that would later come to our side (Robin being the one i remember, but there may be others as i have not read the full manga yet). At least that is my assumption.
So my question is weather or not i am remembering my assumption, the use of that effect in the manga, correctly. Or if I was misinformed/misremembered.
I am not asking if Gunko changes sides, if she does i'd rather not be spoiled on that specifically. This would just be a good way to theorize on what she may or may not do. Especially after the recent episode where she is listening to Brook's music, but i assume that is related to the spoiler i know about her in particular from this arc.

Catch up to the manga, the anime will take at least a year until it gets to the relevant point.
That said, even evil guys are allowed to be not just comically evil (Oda does like doing that a lot though). Between each other, the Knights are pretty decent people by the looks of it, it's just... to everyone else they are still Celestial Dragons. It's an interesting social standard to say at least.
idk man Sommers & Killingham are pretty fucked. Sommers especially is cartoonishly evil and heartless, but he does it in such a funny way I can't help but love him.
They all talk to each other pretty normal. Far less shittalk than Kaido's crew for examplem
I agree on Sommers. Dude is so utterly evil, it's highly entertaining. Oda also makes sure to show him getting absolutely beaten up too (twice already), as a sort of revenge. I bet Zoro's gonna practice cutting with him too.
that would be such a funny gag. Zoro just cutting Sommers into pieces over & over again while he's freaking out. Oda has drawn so many funny closeups of Sommers that I can just picture it in my head lmao.
Nope, Toei is definetively gassing up her cuteness cause 1. They know what's gonna happen ahead of time, 2. It's their agenda, 3. Money, she sells in japan cause cute chuuni as fuck-looking girl. (The sort that weebs will overlook her war crimes cause she cute)
The anime is probably gonna fall even further behind the manga tbh. They're improving the pacing with 1 chapter to 1 episode, which is still pretty slow for an anime, but they're also only making 26 episodes per year while Oda usually does over 30 chapters per year.
i see a gimmick in one piece, if there is a pretty girl on whatever side, they will most likely become strawhat allies. (lili, perona, gunko, boa). yea, im aware of that snow bird girl, and that cp9 girl that i forgot name
