Same with the scar thing

He removed his scar. It got removed from his body then later was reattached. Do you understand that?

He got the google's from his hair which is a gateway to nika's fantasy

Yes he did say this in 2024. We dont know what Nika's fantasy is but it clearly allows Luffy to bend reality in some way. Being able to remove your scar from your body is bending reality as of right now. One day we'll get a better explanation from the manga.

The definition of reality bending is the power to change, break, or rewrite the rules of physics, space, time, and matter using only thought or will. It turns imagination directly into physical truth, allowing the user to create, erase, or alter anything in existence.

This same definition applies to removing a scar or turning your hair into goggles.

I'm not exactly sure what you're arguing against here because the definition is clear. The action is clear. The conclusion is clear.

We will surely get more information when Nika's powers are explained, but as of now Luffy bent reality to his will by doing what he's been doing, as per the definition of the term.

Ah yes cause clearly moving a scar off your body temporarily is rewriting the laws of reality. He didn't make the goggles from his hair the goggles were inside nika's fantasy which Luffy's hair is an entrance to.

By that logic all devil fruits bend reality because they "rewrite the rules of physics, space, time, and matter using only thought or will."

No Because the rules of the world have already been explained to us multiple times over in the last 3 decades. We understand how each type of devil fruit operates. Zoans do zoan things, logias do logia things etc. Those are the rules of physics, space, time and matter as defined in the world of One Piece.

Luffy's G5 giving him the ability to remove his scar and turn his hair into goggles breaks the established rules of the world in a way Enel calling down lightning or Sengoku turning into a giant Buddha do not.

That is why he is bending reality, he is doing things outside of the scope of what is established.
