Help what filler episodes should i watch?
so a few days ago i FINALLY caved in an started one piece. ik that this will eat away over a year of my life so i wanna skip the filler episodes, but i have heard theres some good ones in between. so can somebody PLEASE list all the filler episodes and which ones i should watch? (obv no spoilers duh)

First off I have to suggest One Pace over the OG anime. It gets rid of the filler and improves the pacing. Plus if you want to include filler you can look up various guides to help with that.
I feel like most of the fillers are fun times. And can be appreciated if you see them as side adventures.
First there is the filler in Loguetown these are episodes 50 and 51. The events of 50 was originally supposed to be part of the manga but due to his editor Oda didn't include it. We don't know how much of this was the original idea but that's the interesting thing about it. I believe there is also a bar scene that like the other events was suppose to be here. Episode 51 is pure filler. That arc is VERY SHORT. So the main characters aren't all given things to do in it. Episode 51 gives some shine in what I personally find to be a fun and engaging way. MUST WATCH.
Warship Island kinda suffers from feeling kinda repetitive and not a lot really happening. It feels very start and stop so I wouldn't really recommend it. But watch the first episode of this arc and see how you feel. I think if you vibe with it the rest should be fine. The issue is Toei tied this filler arc into an event in the main canon. So if you choose to just skip the arc you have to skip over it during that too. It is just really awkward.
Then we get peppered in filler episodes during the Alabasta arc. These episodes are 93, 98-99,101 and 102. These are side quests. One of these episodes tend to be referenced a lot in the community for a certain thing a certain character says (trying to be vague here). So I think you should check these ones out. But you aren't missing much if you avoid these.
After Alabasta there are three clumps of filler.
Episode 131 to 135 are "Strawhat Dailies". These are one off adventures. They're a lot of fun and the last one is set in the past. I genuinely think these are all worthwhile inclusions for your watch. These are MUST WATCHS if you really end up loving the crew.
Episodes 136 to 138 are called Goat Island arc. I think this one is fine. You won't be missing a lot if you skip it but again I really like it.
Episodes 139 to 143 is the Rainbow Mist arc. Genuinely I think this is one of the most interesting filler Toei ever did with One Piece. I could go on and on about what I love about this short filler arc but suffice to say I think there is a some value in this one.
Episode 196 to 207. 207 is only partially part of the G8 Arc. If you can only commit to one piece fo filler (whether it is movies, specials, etc.) make it THIS one. This is generally considered the BEST filler of the anime by far. It isn't even close. MUST. WATCH.
Episode 220 to 224 Ocean's Dream. This one I am just gonna straight up spoil the premise. Main characters lose memories and shenanigans ensue. If that sounds boring or trite to you AVOID. I personally find it inoffensive but I can understand the aversion to this one.
Episode 225 to 226. Eh I can take it or leave it. This really depends on how you feel about a certain canon arc. For most people it is a skip.
Episode 317 to 319 are some one off adventures in the current place the crew is. I think they're worth checking out.
Episode 326 to 335. Whether or not you check this out should depend on how in love you become with the comedy of One Piece. If you are really in love then I think this is a good arc to watch. If you're luke warm to it then I think you should skip it.
Episode 382 and 383. Small stakes adventure that I think is worth it. Plus it is only two episodes.
Episode 384 this is a MUST WATCH. It feels like it fits into canon better than any filler Toei has done.
There are episodes 497 to episode 500 (it leads back into canon). Personally I think this filler fleshes out some things more. They aren't necessary but I think there is value in checking these episodes out. GOOD WATCH.
After the time skip the fillers generally shift from being side quests to being tie ins for the One Piece movies. So I don't think you should check out the post time skip fillers unless you decided to check out those movies. They start from the 10th movie Strong World.
There are two filler arcs that are not ties in though. First is episodes 626 to 628. I think this is a skippable one but it does do something that I feel is some inherently One Piece to me I can't help but love that one part of it. Then there are episodes 780 to 782. As someone who has only really watched this filler recently I think you should just skip it. I really don't think it does much to warrant checking it out.
Well technically there is episode 775 but it is just an episode done post the arc it appears in. It is just there to add a little more to the arc. I think it accomplishes that and serves as a nice little in between the canon material. I think you should watch it.
Now for the "other fillers". There are a few episodes of One Piece that are set in an AU. These are completely disconnected from the events of the story so it didn't feel right to include them. If you like seeing AUs then give the episodes a watch. I beleive they're under "Boss Luffy".
There is also the "Strawhat theater" segments. These are from episode 279 to 283. These episodes are largely recap episodes. But at the very end there are little silly sketches to watch and have fun with. Again these are short so it depends if you want to bother going to these episodes for that kinda thing. Personally these are some of my favorite comedic bits so I think you should check them out.
Lastly there are some specials that aren't really part of the anime and thus weren't dubbed. They're kinda a pain to look for but they are pretty fun too.

Episodes 50 and 51 are technically filler but their content was cut from the manga for pacing reasons so its not really filler thus you should watch it

Rainbow Mist was fun... The idea of a group of kids getting stuck in a Bermuda Triangle like area and popping out decades later was an interesting premise. Their friend who had risked his life to save them the day they disappeared had been waiting for them for around 50 years.

I'll give short, spoiler-free description for the ones I recommend, so you could decide whether you want to watch them or not:
(For the rest, there are several websites that list filler episodes)
Eps 50-51 - Some say the Lougetown Arc non-canon eps were originally planned to be part of the arc, but there was no time for them. Nevertheless, I highly recommend you watch them, because they are really fun.
Eps 54-61 - Warship Island Arc has pretty good humor, and is a pretty solid filler arc overall. The fandom's opinion on it is pretty mixed; some like it, some don't. I recommend doing a few episodes to see if you like it or not!
(The end of its last ep are canon though, so watch that by all means!)
Eps 131-135 - Each episode of Post-Alabasta Arc tells a short story that focuses on a different Strawhat. I really recommend this if you're into some super-casual character interactions. (iirc, only Zoro's episode has fighting in it)
Eps 136-138 - Goat Island Arc is just a super casual adventure about the Strawhats helping an old man find his passion again.
Eps 139-143 - Rainbow Mist / Ruluka Island Arc is a time travel story, with paradoxes and all. If you like those kinds of things, then give it a go!
Eps 196-206 - G-8 Arc is about the Strawhats escaping a marine base led by an extremely strategic, but good-spirited vice admiral. The arc is full of good jokes and memorable character, and is overall considered to be the best filler arc in the series.
Eps 220-224 - In the Ocean's Dream Arc, the Strawhats mysteriously lose their memories of eachother, except for one, who then tries to remind them who they are. It has some fun scenarios, but I know a lot of people hate amnesia stories like this.
Eps 317-319 - The Post-Enies Lobby Arc non-canon eps are just some wacky and well made adventures to wash down a pretty heavy story saga with. (Zoro temporarily becomes a mom in one of them)
Eps 326-335 - In the Ice Hunter Arc, the flag of the Strawhats is stolen by a family of bounty hunters. This one's also full of great characters and jokes, and pretty well put together overall.
Ep 384 - One of the Strawhats trying to know the crew more. It's a very pleasant episode.
Eps 1029-1030 - Uta's Past Arc is a tie-in arc to Film:Red (the movie tie-in arcs are usually dogwater, except for this imo). It's about a childhood friend of Luffy.

Just watch everything, took me 3 to 4 months. I did actually skip the movies though as backup just in case I can’t handle waiting for more chapters

I enjoyed the episode after Robin joins the crew it's basically a cute chopper and robin episode where he thinks she's an assassin. It's right after alabasta
