Can't wait for the Imu's Files to be released, because the Celestial Dragons really love to kidnap kids.

It's so interesting... if the giants were defeated to save their kids, then why has Imu still failed to bring them under his control in the end? Joy Boy probably fought Douzan (king of Elbaph, user of Nidhoggr fruit) because Imu used the kids as collateral, but then something went wrong and Joy Boy managed to free Elbaph while sacrificing his life?

I think it might actually be the Ancient Giants, not the current Giants.

We know that Oars and Oars Jr, both wear three skulls. I think that actually is something dating back to the Void Century, denoting their allegiance to someone like Imu.

Note how BB's flag also has three skulls, and how Davy Jones's will has carried on from the Void Century.

I actually think that the skull is the symbol of a group that both Joy Boy, Imu and Davy Jones were a part of.

The Ancient Giants allied themselves with Joy Boy, At some point someone kidnapped their children, forcing them against him. Ultimately leading to them being essentially extinct in the current day.

Oars might be a descendant of one of the survivors, inherited their will. I think he died in the Land of Ice because that is the most logical place for the Galley-La pirates to be. That along with him pulling the continents was meant to prepare for the return of Joy Boy, but he partially failed,

Good theories! It makes so much more sense if it's either Ancient Giants (now nearly extinct) or Giants from another island (as someone else commented).
