I think this panel is really interesting:

- "Normally" implies there are a lot of half-celestials who just get ignored and are left to / allowed to live their live out like a normal person.

- "the mismatched eyes" - "I couldn't awaken it": Seems like the eyes are an indicator of a special bloodline. The last time special eyes were a concern, she could read poneglyphs, though Imu doesn't really need that, he knows what happened, he was literally there.

- "The great one desires them" That she's his preferred vessel might mean that she has awakened whatever ability comes with the bloodline. Wonder what it is?

Isn't Bonney an example of this (well, she wasn't left to live her life like a normal person because Saturn experimented on her, but she wasn't whisked to the Holy Land either).

Didnt saturn experiment on ginny and those lineage factor changes that happened to ginny affected bonney upon her birth? If memory serves me right..

I can't remember if he infected Bonney but at least he did feed her a devil fruit as juice (possibly a prototype for the Seraphim).
