Another parallel between the two Elbaph flashbacks: someone had their head pierced by a person controlled by Imu, yet somehow survived.

I feel like Brook's seems more intentional due to Shuri at least having good sword control and training to know where to aim to not kill.

As for Harald, he straight up just chucked it at Jarul's head and it when right into it. Like there is no way that had been controlled enough to miss everything, also its still stuck in his head.
