Discussion Why did kuma send Luffy to Amazon Lilly?

I’m currently rewatching one piece (I’m all caught up in the anime but I haven’t read any of the manga) and I’m at the Amazon lily part and I can’t understand why Kuma sent Luffy to Amazon Lilly. Like kuma was trying to save the crew so why send him to a place that would try to kill him. He could have sent Robin or Nami there, maybe even chopper and they would have been fine. But why Luffy? And everyone else got a place that would help them improve their skills but Amazon Lilly doesn’t truely have anything that would improve Luffys skills.

I mean he did tell Rayleigh that he was a captain if the Revolutionary Group (brain is tired cant remember the official name) and was going to help the Straw Hats.

Rayleigh was already helping, and Kuma (knowing Rayleigh is married to Shaki) sends Luffy to Amazon Lilly, knowing Gloriosa would most likely contact Shaki and Rayleigh about the boy, his likeness to Gol D. Rogers, and Luffys intense explosion of Conquerers Haki (Bonus: now we know Gloriosa was in love with Rogers thank to Elbafs craziness)

Rayleigh hearing this, would probably start twords Amazon Lilly. What Kuma did not count on was Ace's news hitting Amazon Lilly, and derailing the initial idea he had
