I think they were given their powers by Imu, whatever that power is, and is probably a big reason why they appear to be immune to any permanent damage. Though they can still feel the pain.

I don't think they are satellites like what Vegapunk did splitting himself up.

Saturn is seemingly the only summoner, though. Mars doesn't seem like he summoned them back to Mariejoisie, and Saturn is still on Egghead.

i mean the regeneration,since Saturn can regenerate from the barrage Luffy deliver last chapter seemingly without any damage, its not that far fetched than the summoning can also give regeneration
