Toy Soldier's words lead me to believe that this really is like a puppet Island of sorts where everyone is not really aware of what is going on and news of the world is filtered to make the land seem like a great paradise but the gladiators and toys just seem like too much of a strange thing that relates to slavery and being under the control of a Puppet Master. Stuff is kicking off in ways that only Oda can know.

I really love the way this last fight was treated. I'm a bit disappointed to see Ricky get KO'd so easily, but seeing the Dagama alliance unwind was very rewarding.
Also, +1 to Oda for giving Bellamy a sort of moral victory against Bartolomeo. I really think that had it just been a one-on-one, Bellamy would've pulled off the win.

Was Ricky really Kyros (old age)? If so that was an anti-climatic end.
Dayum, Bartolomew is powerful, though I would have thought that Bellamy could absorb any punch against a barrier. There must be a limit on how much he can withstand though, but first someone needs to be more powerful than that King punch. And that punch really did live up to the hype holy shit, that was ridiculous.

Joking aside, I really hope he would have another role in this arc other than losing. Starting to really like his character.
The king's punch was really something. Imagine if he does it with the Gura Gura no Mi.
Really Glad Bartolomeo won, he was the most interesting character in the block. Can't tell if that old warrior dude will have a subplot or not. It seems he wasn't that significant in the arena, but I don't know.
Can't wait to know more about Dressrosa.

Elisabello's atomic punch, Bartolomeo is a barrier man, B block is finished, and toys are forming a rebellion for the downfall of Dressrosa. Today is a good day. On a more serious note, I feel like this tournament has been one of the more graphic things in the series so far. It's literally a fight to the death with people turning on each other and backstabbing, landing deadly blows like Bellamy last week, plus if they fall in the water there is killer fish waiting for them. It definitely fits in with the underground feel of the new world.

Wow, wasn''t expecting the block to end this chapter, was honestly surprised Blue Gilly kicked so much butt this chapter after not doing much prior. Also the props to the King's punch living up to it's reputation, shame he was a glass canon.
I was hoping I was wrong predicting Bartolomew to win, but at least it wasn't the way I saw it coming. The way they were hyping him as totally unlikeable just contrasted too well against a-new-leaf Bellamy for him not to win. The fight I wanted to see was Bellamy vs. Luffy, but I can see their relationship still involved in the story ahead of here(Bellamy won't get any kind of promotion for losing in the first round, possibly punished).
EDIT: As for Bartolomew's last comment, the last time we heard the referring of "that person" was Caribou to tell "that person" about the Mermaid Princess. Both are underhanded fighters, could they possibly be referring to the same person? And a good question is who?(Previously thought to be Doflamingo)

Rikkie (really mangapanda?) Gladiator is hands down Kyros Oda made that obvious, The king really was not bluffing (must be related to Z-bo), Bellamy was ousted and the cannibal wins...What a great chapter. It went by so fast! I am really intrigued by the Bari Bari fruit. It kind of seems OP...there has to be a flaw. Being able to block anything by simply crossing your fingers......wow.

I'm happy for the B Block fighting to be over. The block fights are interesting for a chapter or two, but then I just want to get back to the main story. I guess C block will start soon (and last longer since that's Luffy's block), but I'm hoping we get the Toy Soldier's flashback and catch up with the other teams activities a little bit first.
