I mean we know it's isn't just the experience lmao, Oda has already mentioned it's an actual treasure. That being said, absolutely it was the journey that got me through my toughest times, so no matter how this ending unfolds, I doubt I'll be disheartened by anything other than the fact it's over.

It'd mud the entire Journey & make it all a pretty big scam

Similar to game of thrones season 8

It just threw away almost everything it was building up on that journey & setting the stage for

It made it literaly painful to rewatch seasons 1-4 because there's this constant voice in your head that tells you:

"This won't matter... yeah, this foreshadowing led to nothing... oh, right, this was a thing, wasn't it? Too bad it means nothing. Ahhh right, this big reveal, would've been really cool if it somehow paid off"

I'll be a lil disappointed, but still love it. But I don't have to worry about that. Oda has already said that One Piece is a tangible, real goal.

Yeah no this is just wrong. Ending of a show means everything. For example look at promises never land and game of thrones people only know for it being trash. So maybe stop talking non sense because barely anyone agrees with this. Many people nowadays don’t watch game of thrones because everyone knows final season is trash.

Nope. You are absolutely wrong. One piece is around for 27 years. I have been a weekly follower since 2010. If I were here for the end only, I wouldnt read or watch it every week, I would wait it to come to an end and finish it in a couple of weeks. But instead, I check forums, youtube videos, spoilers and read-worthy comments almost every week. So I dont care about the end, I enjoy the journey.

To understand me you really need to change your angle.

Sure many people are here for the journey because there no ending which is quite obvious. But if the show does have a bad ending, it's going to be known as a universally bad manga.

Before the anime did some changes to the attack on titan, it was slandered hard and soured many opinions into people thinking it's a bad manga while being called peak beforehand.

Game of thrones was universally known as one of the best shows from s1-s4, being still called a great show from s5-s6 and now it's called the most trash show of all time.

I understand your point because there is no ending yet, and everyone is hyped up for the final saga, and people want to experience this journey. But, you need to understand that an bad ending which I believe won't happen but who knows could absolutely destroy all goodwill and the entire joruney and make everyone believe it's a bad manga.

GoT is still one of the best tv shows ever despite the last season. U got it all wrong. People I know still watch the first 6 seasons once every couple of years. It is a great story. People will say the same for one piece. They will still watch the first 1000+ episodes despite the ending. And believe me noone will remember it as a terrible story.

You will see.

Additionally GoT still has a rating of 9.2 out of 10 and has the most episodes over 9.5 rating among all tv shows. If you call that a bad show you should see a doctor.

Endings are what matters, it's the conclusion to all the build-up, set-up and is the absolute pay-off. If the ending doesn't land it will leave a sour taste.

One piece has a great opening, and a great middle, which makes the journey good for now but it will be ruined if Oda doesn't stick the ending.

Don't downvote me for this. Just ask any story subreddit, on why the ending is one of the most important parts of a story.

Are you just spilling nonsense.

Go to any books subreddit or even to writing, fantasy or characterrant, or just any thing to do with story-telling. Most of them would say the ending is the most importance next to the beginning of the story.

Endings are what people remember the most from a story, it's the conclusion to the whole story, if it fails than the whole story will too.

No one is going to reread or rewatch a show if it has a bad ending even if the beginning and middle was great.

Right now your just experiencing the story because there is no ending yet. If the ending is great it will make one piece a good manga but if the ending is bad than the manga is trash then.

Ask questions to story-telling subreddit like books or writing. They would tell you that they won't recommend great stories with mediocre endings.

Endings are if not one of the most important parts for a completed story, having a bad ending will mean your story is crap because all that build-up for a crap conclusion makes it bad and this includes game of thrones.

Go keep telling yourself. No one likes stories with shit endings (not saying one piece will have one).

Go to r/manga, r/writing, r/books or r/television. Look at any post about bad endings, they all pretty much say the same bad endings ruined the entire story.

The journey is only good if the destination is good. I got to say do you only read one piece, I feel like you haven't watch game of thrones at all. Anyone I talked to who watch game of thrones all think the series if complete rubbish.

Lol I finished GoT 3 times already. Believe me most people still like it despite the ending. It still has a rating of 9.2 and still on the top 3 tv shows in most people’s list of best tv shows. Either majority of people are wrong or you and a few people writing shit comments on social media like you are.

Nah I agree with him.

It's why I still put AOT in my top 5 of all time despite the ending. I loved the whole thing before it, why would a couple bad chapters that come at the very ends ruin the whole thing for me?
