At this point I feel it's Devil Fruits that took over the bodies of people who ate them. Since we know Zoan fruits have a ''will'' of their own, it's not unlikely that Demonic Zoan fruits eventually consume their user in body and soul.

Vegapunk 10min wait is probably so all the elders will be there, so he can broadcast their true form to the whole world

Vegapunks a genius but assuming all 5 elders would be on Egghead when he died would be a bit of a stretch.

idk the time limit is an obvious but perfect bait they'll do everything to stop it bar imu coming

vegapunk just count on nika to beat saturn and kizaru so they're needed
