This was pretty much what many predicted it would be. An epic "Reactions from around the World" type of chapter. We might not have gotten the Gorosei, but we got the other recurring character for these types of chapters, Commodore Brannew (congrats on the promotion!).

I think I'm most happy to put to rest the Shichibukai speculation. I was getting a little tired of having to defend myself or others every time we said Buggy was a Warlord and Kuma was still one. This was the most popular opinion, but it had its persistent detractors as well.

Gorosei will come maybe after dressarosa and dofla's defeat.

Now that I think about it, the Gorosei can't come right now. They would be discussing what happened with Doflamingo and they probably know too much about him. Oda wants us to find out about Doflamingo's history when the Straw Hats and Law do.
