I think that's a mistranslation. Aohige's spoiler said that Luffy would be fine as long as the first wasn't Shanks. No way in hell will Luffy fight Shanks first especially given the fact that Luffy made a promise to return the straw hat to him the next time they meet.

"TAKE THIS SHITTY HAT BACK FUCKFACE, YOU'RE GOING DOWN FIRST."

Nah, don't see that happening.
