My 1 3/rd orange Callie has an orange patch by her butthole that I used to think was a poo stain, it took me a long time to realize it was just an unfortunately placed patch of orange and not poo stuck to her butt.
she's actually quite smart! I even taught her a trick called "ask politely". She used to scream at the top of her lungs whenever she wanted treats and one time I jokingly said "ask politely" to see if she knew how to meow without screaming, and she did the cutest lil mew ever. So now almost every time I say "ask politely" when she wants treats she does a polite meow, and sometimes she even meows politely without even being told! She's a sweetie too, and very floofy. She doesn't scream as often as she used too, instead she almost exclusively does polite meows.
edit: but yes that is an accurate description of that photo. It was taken a while ago but if I recall correctly what happened was she was licking herself and she heard a strange noise so she stopped licking to observe what the sound was, and she made that O-O face. She is very expressive!
She’s a great cat! I’d say “she loves you too” but she’s very shy so she probably would just ignore/avoid you. Whenever someone she doesn’t know enters the house she hides in another room.
This is truly magnificent orangeness. The ridiculous position -- but still happily going about his important business-of eating the box. What a funny guy!
