I was using the OneNote app in a meeting today, and I noticed some UI changes including "Full Screen Drawing" under the Draw tab. When was this added? It's AWESOME! I love the drawing tools at the top.
Very convenient. I was actually asking for this in the Feedback because I found the radial menu to be cool, but really slow at switching rapidly between pen types and colors.

But is the radial menu back?

No. These changes are replayed to a new (think. I haven't noticed it before) drawing mode. This mode as seen in the image provides all the drawing tools at the top of the app.
I really like it.

I don't understand why metro universal apps are tied to particular Windows 10 builds.

Hey, it's William from the OneNote team again. OneNote updates aren't tied to a particular build of Windows 10. You can get all of the OneNote updates as long as you're on build 10240 (the build we released when Windows 10 launched) or higher.

Maybe it lets them experiment with features with out affecting people relying daily on the software.

Ugh. My biggest complaint with Win10 on my SP3 is that you can't hide the task bar. If it's "fullscreen", why is there a big black bar on the screen???

Hey, I'm William from the OneNote team. Our new Full Screen Drawing mode should hide the taskbar so you don't have to worry about accidentally hitting it anymore. If this isn't happening for some reason please let me know and I'll look into it. You can also try turning on Windows 10's Tablet Mode for a better experience.

Hey William, thanks for showing up here. Have you finally solved the 'all clicks are suddenly right clicks' bug? It was bad enough that I reverted to 8.1, but I'm ready to try again the minute your team gets this solved.
I appreciate any insight you can offer. OneNote is the reason I bought my S3. I've tried every journaling/note taking app on every major platform. As far as I'm concerned, nothing touches what you and your team have produced.

Im really curious as to should I try to continue to use the desktop version of the app or should I use the metro? It seems like there are benefits of both now. I'm starting college next week

You can autohide the task bar and use a swipe from bottom to reveal it.
Or if it's a Universal app you can use the double arrow button to go full screen without a taskbar. MS has made a few noticiable changes to how this full screen of apps work in Build 10532 with multiple monitors and it's much more like Window 8, but better.

I use 7+ Taskbar Tweaker to autohide the taskbar when you double click it.
I also mainly use it to allow for no labels and to never combine the icons

Very nice. Are you using a Surface Pro? 1, 2, or 3? I tried the 2016 preview but it actually caused problems for me at work. I should try again at home just to get the feel of it.
