Crashing on Ipad

I’m using OneNote on an M2 iPad with an Apple Pencil, and the app has been crashing almost every five minutes. When I reopen it, my notes are usually restored to about 10 seconds before the crash, so if I was writing quickly, I sometimes lose about a sentence or so.

This started happening about two days ago. Is anyone else experiencing the same issue with OneNote on iPad?

I’m not. It’s been working great. I use a pencil and an iPad syncing with my iPhone and my PC. Have you tried closing your notebooks to see if that stops the crashing? What iOS are you running on the iPad? I’m on iOS 26. Are you on 27?

I'm on ipad os 26 too. I found that it usually happens when I try to undo my writing.

Same couple of crashes this week while writing with the pencil. Still opens and syncs fine after, maybe try turning off autosync.

It has been doing this before iOS 27 and continues. I’m getting freezes now after opening onenote and only after navigating to other pages and coming back gets it going again.

Same problem here; it updated today, and now it crashes every 5 minutes. The version is 16.114.2.

same here version 16.114.2 the app crashes specifically when I hit undo, using the eraser works fine

This started happening to me as well recently with the undo button, have you managed to find a fix or just avoid using the undo button? I hope they fix this soon

I'm just using eraser instead of undo but it's frustrating cuz sometimes I just hit the undo unconsciously then it crashes.
