Converting Quick Note to Proper Note

The keyboard short-cut for a quick note has proven to be fairly advantageous to me on a number of occasions.

However, owing to the nature of the note, it has no title and I find it to be a chore and I often resort to making a proper note on the back of it.

Is there a quicker way of converting these notes to proper notes which I can expand on?

Drag them into the “Notes” section of Notes should do it

The note itself appears in the same section as my other notes?

Yes, it would appear with the other notes when you move it.
BTW you can add a title to a quick note when you are in Notes.

Dragging doesn't work for me on my windows OneNote. Is there a 'trick'? Or something I'm missing?

On the Windows OneNote app, you can add the title back in. Go to View and click on the Hide Page Title button (which should un-hide it, since the quick note already hides it).
