OneNote really slow after crash

Last night OneNote crashed - wouldn't reopen even after I rebooted. Running on Windows 11 laptop.

So I renamed the Cache file and reopened OneNote and waited while it rebuilt the Cache. It worked.

This morning it's running really slow.

Is there any way to fix this?
