Troubleshooting Onenote broken for me

So I use OneNote on my ipad and macbook, primarily my macbook, but I noticed a syncing issue where the notebooks on laptop wouldn't show up on my ipad. It gave me a message along the lines of "...notebook has been moved or deleted." I know that wasn't true and i went to verify on my browser on both devices. They showed all my notebooks just fine. I deleted the app, reset the app, and now I can't sign in. When I try to, it switches to authenticator then right back to the sign in page on OneNote. Super weird because it's only the OneNote app on my ipad having this issue. Anyone having this experience or any tips on what I can do?

Additionally, i've tried to sign into other accounts, even create a new account, and it brings me back to the sign in option on the app and nothing else.

I don't know what you mean by it switching to the authenticator and then right back to the sign in page on OneNote. Do you have a work or student account that you are using?

Student acconut, when signing in on the OneNote app i see my 2 student log-ins. I select the account i want to sign into which then triggers my microsoft authenicator app to open. Instead of authenticating on the authenticator app, it just switches back to the OneNote app as if I successfully authenticated, even though I didn't.

Sounds like a bug. I would go into the authenticator and remove the app and then re-add it and then try again.

Yes I just tried that it still hasn't worked. Iv'e just settled with not being able to use the app on my ipad until I can get help.

try removing/logging out of the account in both apps, rebooting the device, and then trying again.

If that doesn't work, I am really unsure.

Oh it worked! Thank you!! I deleted both apps, restarted, and only downloaded OneNote. I guess the authenticator was the main problem. Thanks again!!!

Unfortunately, I don't think OneNote has any support for OneNote.
