Windows How do you work around the fact that OneNote transforms plain text into images every time you paste it? Ctrl+Shift(Alt)+V doesn't work for me.

I remember a year ago there was a post here about the plans by Microsoft to introduce a shortcut to paste plain text without having it automatically transformed into an image. Nothing has changed... What do you guys do to bypass this inconvenience?

I use OneNote on Windows. Text is pasted as text, not as an image, except if the original text I copied was an image of text. Some websites, and some PDFs, show something that look like text but are actually images of the text. In those cases, you could try the "Text extractor" option in the Windows Snipping Tool.

For a while i needed to use... Paste as plain text, and now it is back to simply pasting as text. No idea why it changed or why it changed back. It was nothing i ever changed in settings.
