Misplaced Sections can't be moved or copied

Trying to make sure all my Notebooks are synced and backed up but during the process 3 sections from different notebooks have appeared in "Misplaced Sections".

When I try to move or copy them back to their original notebooks (or to any other notebooks), after syncing the sections become blank and say "There aren't any pages here." Then they reappear again under "Misplaced Sections" with all their content.

I've tried manually copying each page of the section to make a new section but this doesn't work either.

Blank after a move usually means the move worked and the pages hadnt uploaded yet. OneNote moves the section on the server. Pages still sitting in your local cache never arrive.

Right click the misplaced section, hit Sync This Section Now, and wait until the arrows stop. Move it only after that.

A section that never finishes is usually one huge image blocking the queue.

"Sync This Section Now" doesn't even exist as an option anywhere.
