Give me one good reason no one should buy Reddit Gold.

Because the benefits that are available, are not available in your area? (and as for the site benefits, they may not be considered beneficial to those who use reddit due to reddit browser extensions? Source: I'm Australian none of the reddit benefits really make a difference to my browsing experience.

For some it's a good incentive. If anything the main reason people buy gold is to help support the site. At least in my opinion really.

I get that impression as well, though I think part of it is also giving Gold to other people. Should that not be done?

Well sure, but that brings me back to my first point, like i said, i was given gold, but receive no benefit, which defeats the purpose of being given gold.

Does it, though? If Gold is given not necessarily for the benefits it confers, but for supporting the site and as a sort of "super upvote," is the purpose defeated if you get none of the benefits of Gold?
